Does this have a clip to attach to the girth or does it slip around it?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2015
Best Answer: It has a loop for the girth to go through. If you wanted to put a clip on it, the breast plate could be altered easily. It is very adjustable.

I have an 18h thoroughbred mare what size would I need?
A shopper on Jul 25, 2015
Best Answer: I purchased the cob size for my 15.1 hand foundation quarterhorse. It's large for him, so I had to punch several holes. I'm looking now for a black synthetic polo collar. I purchased the Walsh model on this Web site, and it's way too small. I prefer the polo type that straps around the billets. I use aussie endurance saddle and ride extremely hilly trails. The polo style works best for endurance or trails.

Is the hardware stainless steel?
Kathleen D on Jan 9, 2014
Best Answer: To my knowledge it is stainless steel. I live in Arizona in a dry climate so I've had no issues with rust or anything else. It was larger than expected and was slightly big on my draft cross so I added a few extra holes on the straps.

I have an 18h thoroughbred mare could you recommend sizing for me?
A shopper on Jul 25, 2015
Best Answer: This was the only inexpensive 3-point breastplate that fit my big bodied irish sport horse. I ordered horse size and it's easy to add holes if you need to. Of course the plastic is stiff and not as nice as leather, but it did the job we needed.

I have a haflinger mare if I got one for her what size would I need?
A shopper on Jul 24, 2015
Best Answer: I would get a full size. I feel like they run small. The cob would most likely fit a thinner build pony but a haflinger mare would most likely be too beefy for the cob.
