I ride a pony and want to keep as much weight off his back is possible. These fit the bill. Much lighter than leather or other synthetic leathers.

How do I know what size I need? 24, 28 or 32?
Moroney R on Aug 18, 2013
Best Answer: The 24 measures to be the traditional 48", 28 measures to 54 and 32" measures to be 60 I looked on smartpaks website and they happened to have it listed next to the size. lol

Do the hooks come loose easily when riding? - Thanks
Maggie C on Jul 16, 2015
Best Answer: These are fantastic. They are easily adjusted and can be done while mounted (even one handed). I have never had these move when i didnt want them to. There is no bulge from the buckle rubbing your leg like regular leathers. The first time you use them it's a little bit tight to get the metal piece into the hole but its still super easy and easy to change the length. The loop that attaches to the saddle goes on and off easily too. I love these and will never go back to regular leathers.

Are these adult sized or children sized? - Thanks
A shopper on Jul 16, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, 32 would be adult size. Pretty much your inseam length with some adjustment either direction. Our kid uses 28 and small kids would use "kids". We like these to eliminate buckle "lump" under the thigh. Only negative is you tend to get a bit more free movement of feet/legs which a judge will watch for.

Exactly how do these fit on the saddle bar? Does anyone have a photo they would like to share, as there is one comment that where the "webber" attaches it sits below the "bar skirt"?
A shopper on Mar 29, 2015
Best Answer: I admit to being somewhat ignorant about terminology but I will attempt this answer. I have the Webbers Leathers of various lengths installed on two English, one endurance and one Aussie saddle. There is a loop in one end of the leather strap. This lop slides over the stirrup bar under the skirt of the saddle the same way regular leathers do. The stirrup slides on the leather and the clip shown in the photo on the site hooks through the slots in the back of the strap. It is really quite intuitive once you see it. I did discover that you must slide the loop end through the stirrup slot rather than the clip end. I do not have any photos. Hope this helps.

How do you know what length to get? I usually ride with an English saddle.
Sarah F on Dec 14, 2014
Best Answer: Wintec Webbers are approximately half the length of traditional English stirrup leathers, because they are not doubled over the stirrup bar.
The 24" are usually for children, the 28" are usually for ladies, and the 32" are usually for taller adults or dressage riders.

I have a Wintec synthetic saddle, would these be too hard on the flaps where they're leather?
A shopper on Sep 25, 2015
Best Answer: Not sure I understand your question. If you are using Webbers on your Wintec, they shouldn't cause any damage to the flaps because the flaps are synthetic too (I think). I use Webbers on my leather Kieffer, and Webber Pros on my leather dressage saddle; I do think they rub more than leather ones would, but I use them anyway because they are SO much more comfortable. The Pros are softer and rub less. If your Wintec actually does have leather flaps and you're worried about rubbing, you might get the Bates Webbers as they are leather.
