Product Summary:
Zimecterin Gold Product Satisfaction Guarantee

This Product Satisfaction Guarantee offers you no-hassle assurance of product satisfaction when you treat your horse according to label directions.

All horses carry parasites, but proper management will control them. Establishing good sanitation practices and maintaining a regular deworming schedule are a crucial to maintaining the good health of your horse. Not doing so can be dangerous, and can even cause death.

Always dose according to your horse’s weight, not size. Appropriate rotation of ingredients (not products) is crucial. Avoid overlap of active ingredients every time you worm to ensure your horse receives the necessary combination of medicines to stay healthy.

Zimecterin® Gold is a potent, broad spectrum antiparasitic agent, approved by the FDA to eliminate 61 species and stages of equine parasites, including tapeworms and the arterial stages of S. vulgaris, with a single dose. It is safe for horses, breeding stallions and foals over 5 months of age. Each syringe treats up to 1,250 pounds.

Zimecterin® Anthelmintic is a combination anthelmintic and boticide, one of the most effective parasite management courses available. This rotation-free wormer provides control for 60 species and stages of equine parasites. Proven safe for all horses. One syringe treats up to 1,250 pounds.

Active Ingredients:

Zimecterin® Gold: Ivermectin 1.55% and Praziquantel 7.75%

(2) Lock the ring in place by making a ¼ turn to the right. (3) Make sure that the horse’s mouth contains no feed. (4) Remove the cover from the tip of the syringe. (5) Insert the syringe tip into the horse’s mouth at the space between the teeth. (6) Depress the plunger as far as it will go, depositing paste on the back of the tongue. Love it, 2/22/2012

SC from US

This is one of the best dewormers I've used! I've used this dewormer on 5 different horses. Four of my own and one boarder. None of them had any sort of reaction. My mare with a heavy parasite load lost her bloated belly in about a week. I will definitely be deworming with this more often!

allergic reaction, 7/31/2011

ginger from Lindale, TX

gave ZG to my 25 Y/O Andalusian gelding for the first time today and within a half hour noticed his inner lip swollen the size of a golf ball and the flesh bright red and turned out of his mouth. The swelling was all down this right side inside the mouth where I administered it. He was able to eat but sensitive to my touching it. Several hours later still swollen but does not appear to be any worse. I will continue to monitor and call vet if it gets worse. Never had this with any other wormer in his 25 yrs of life.

A must, 11/5/2010

trackgirl from Southern, Indiana

I use this product twice a year to make sure my horses do not get tape worms. Any worm is bad but tape worms can be transmitted to humans easier. I never had a problem with this product and I have some of THE most sensitive horses on the planet!

BE CAREFUL!!!, 10/15/2010

T. Warner from California

Many many horses have reactions with Zimecterin Gold, including swelling of the mouth, ulcerations in the mouth or stomach, etc. I would never ever use this formula especially since there are other products with the same formulation. Go to Chronicle of the Horse and search the forums if you don't believe the horror stories.

His Mouth Swelled up!, 5/14/2009

Nickie O. from NE Tennessee

I dosed my horse today with ZG, He immediately kept rolling his tongue around in his mouth...I thought it was normal for him, but about 10 min later his mouth where the dewormer was administered had swollen and he was drooling quite a bit. I will NEVER use this product EVER again!!! I will stick with the regular Zimectrin in my rotation from now on!

I used ZImecterin Gold for the first time this spring and my horse has never looked better. She lost her hay belly and her coat slicked out. She must have had tapeworms... Ill use Zimecterin Gold every deworming from now on. Its worth the extra money.
