When spring finally begins to poke its way through the last dregs of winter, it’s time to start getting your stable ready for a busy riding season. Just putting the effort into organizing the barn, refreshing your equipment, and cleaning up your tack will get you gearing to saddle up.
Begin by replacing the light bulbs so you can see what you’re doing. Remove any trash, unusable equipment, old feed bags... anything that you don’t need and are simply breeding ground for pests. Starting the season fresh with new equipment will not only brighten the place up, but save you the headache of having to replace them midseason.
