How wide is the extra wide saddle?
Priscilla R on Nov 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It has an 8" gullet
How high is the cantle? What type of rigging does it have? Do you really need to go up a full seat size due to the memory foam?
Ria E on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The cantle is 4.5" on the standard gullet saddles, and 5.5" on the XW. The rigging is 7/8 Nylon-leather with Stainless dees. Yes, Abetta does recommend sizing up one full seat size -- the Memory Foam really does take up that much room.
When measuring size of saddle, where do you begin and end measurement on this saddle?
A shopper on Nov 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Measure from the base of the horn straight back to the edge of the cantle.
