My horse gets sore after he gets his feet done or working on hard ground, so he needs a little dose of bute every now and then. It is way cheaper on State Line Tack than on Amazon. Amazon sells this small syringe of bute for around $30.

Want to try for horse that is footsore after trimming

My ottb filly recently cut her leg out in the paddock. With being off the track I don't want to give her something that will cause Ulcers or be hard on her stomach so we are going to give the buteless paste a try!

BEST ANSWER: I would not recommend giving this to a dog without contacting a vet as it is based on weight. Additionally, a horse's internal system is very different from a dog. It works great for a horse or pony.
Is it safe for continuous use for ringbone?
A shopper on Oct 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Recommend consulting with your vet on safety of use. Personally I did not find the product to work for anti-inflammation/pain management and gave away my remaining tubes. Good luck. P.S. You might ask your vet about the use of therapeutic ultrasound for the ringbone.
Can this be used with goats?
A shopper on Mar 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You should, most likely, be able to use it with goats, however I would still call Absorbine directly or your local livestock vet, just to be sure goats are o.k. with Yucca and Devils Claw. It's also important to get the correct dosage from them, just to err on the side of caution.
What is the shelf life of this product and could it be extended if refrigerated?

BEST ANSWER: I have used mine up to six months and keep in a cool place
Does it work for arthritic pain and can it be used on a mini horse?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It's possible to see some relief from arthritis pain, however you may want to consider a joint support supplement that may assist in overall joint health and use in conjunction with Bute-Less Paste. As far as the dosage, follow a veterinarian's recommendation according to mg per weight of the mini, or try cutting the regular dose in half, keeping in mind there are 3 standard doses per syringe. But, it's a good rule of thumb to check with your vet.
Can you give bute-less to goats?
A shopper on May 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I only gave bute-less to my horses. But if I were to give it to a goat, just make sure the measurements are right for the goat weight.
