Best detangler
Love this stuff. I buy 5 or 6 bottles at a time. Spray it on manes and tails any time I may run a brush through. I think it works very best if you spray it on and let it sit a few minutes.

Fabulous product!
The smell of this product alone I think it’s great. This product is help my horses coat dramatically compared to show sheen which is not a conditioner as well and the sunscreen is just an added benefit. My horses coats are glistening!

Santa Fe is THE BEST!
We've been using Santa Fe for a year now and it is by far my favorite! I keep the tail bones moist with it and have had growth and improved texture in the tails. It keeps the haircoat healthy and shiny year-round. I use it on the rope horses that stay turned out in the sun and the sunscreen in Santa Fe keeps their manes and tails from fading so much. It's a wonderful product for detangling, keeping a shiny hair coat and protecting white faces from the sunlight.

My Go-To Grooming Product
I use this product on mane/tail and coat. I have a Dark bay mare who gets very light and sun bleached in the summer when left to her own devices. This product really helps to maintain her color, staves off sun-bleaching, and her coat is BEAUTIFUL and shiny. I have not had any issues with tack slipping on my horses and I really like the scent of the product. Overall, I use it for everything and love it. Highly recommended!

Wow! Healed sunburn on Horse's Nose
I went away on a week long vacation to come back to my white faced paint horse whose nose was sunburned so bad, it was blistering. She also had a bald spot on one her cheeks from sun damage. I tried zinc oxide, but it made her nose swell up. This was the only sunscreen product on Stateline that wasn't on backorder, so I gave it a try. A week later, using it only once per day, all the scabs have fallen off her nose and the color is pink instead of beet red.I put it on the bald spot also and hair started growing back in just a couple of days. I'm so impressed with this product, and was happy to find something that worked both for the sun and for my horse's touchy skin. I will definitely buy again.
What a pleasant surprise!
As a first-time user of this product, I wasn't expecting much. At first I was disappointed to read that the sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours or so, but I must say, the difference in my horse's coat is quite noticeable. This horse is kept in a paddock and has a bad habit of soaking up the sun. But after just a few days, he's easier to clean and his coat looks healthy with more shine. I will be a repeat customer!

I got this for my mare who is sensitive to literally everything. Including this. :(However, i used it on my minis to detangle their tails and keep their manes conditioned, and it is amazing. My one guy hates bathes, so washing his forelock is out of the question. I put some in my hand like I would hair gel and rub it in/finger it thru, and it keeps the frizzies away and gives his forelock more of that horse look, rather than the pony 'fro between his ears. He also rubs his tail and the hair at the base gets tore up, but with this, it keeps the hair from looking so matted, broken and rubbed.

Great horse spot and shine
My gypsy banner loves to Sun bathe. He was getting mild Sunburn on his nose. I use this product twice a week all spring and summer and am noticing a difference! Smells good and makes him look great too!
This is a great product. It really has helped my horses' tail from the frizzies. I apply it daily and it is getting her tail in shape for competitive showing. I also love the fact it has sunscreen it, which helps from picking up the red color she usually gets every summer in her black mane and tail. I highly recommend this product.

This grooming product is the greatest. I've been using it for a while and feel it's the best out there for manes and tails. I have also used it on my own hair when it gets a bit flyaway looking!
Super product
Sante fe is a really nice product that can be used daily. It keeps the horses coat well conditioned and shiney without making it sticky or attract dirt. It helps repel dirt/mud and even when the horses is dirty/muddy it comes off more easily than without Sante Fe. It is nice for tails to help keep the hairs elastic and conditioned. It even works well in the winter, thus can be sprayed in the cold. It dries fairly quickly. In the summer it has a bit of SPF in it which seems to help one of my horses with scratches. Overall, really nice product.
Excellent Product!
Love this conditioner. It smells so good, leaves the coat nice, smooth and shiny without drying up the skin and lasts for couple days and makes it much easier to clean the paddock dirt. Also detangles the tail and mane. Hard to find in feed stores. This website had the cheapest one available and they even sent me a gift certificate!
The best out there
This stuff is amazing!! I don't need to use rinse out conditioner anymore while giving a bath. I just spray this stuff right on my horse's mane and tail and it's tangle free and shiny. It makes his coat so soft and healthy looking. My friend had mane n tail detangler and said it doesn't work nearly as well as this. I 100% recommend!
Great Product
I've used others - Show Sheen, Cowboy Magic to name two - Santa Fe is by far the best. I think it's a bit pricey, but that's offset by how well it works. Even my farrier noticed the dirt just falls off when she rolls. It's not greasy. There's no saddle slip. Try it, you'll like it.
Better than show Sheen
This is one of the best coat conditioners out there. I use it on my horses' tail. It does not have silicone and thus does not attract more dirt. It has a light fragrance in addition to sunscreen. In the summer I use it as much for the sunscreen properties as the conditioning properties. I have used this product for years and heartily recommend it to anyone.

The Santa Fe Coat Conditioner is great! I personally like it a lot better than Showsheen. I love how you can spray it on the saddle area safely. The sunscreen is great for my dark bay gelding!
Santa Fe Coat Conditioner
This is the best product in its category. There is no silicone in it to get into reins or other tack. It does a terrific job on tails and manes and has sunscreen to boot. And then it even leaves a nice odor.

Favorite Grooming Product
Both my horse and I love Santa Fe coat conditioner. I mainly use it for mane and tail detangling and conditioning. It helps with itching and I think it strenghtens hair against breakage personally. All around it is a great product :)

at first this was just reccomended.. but, i LOVE the smell and it acually helps to stop tail rubbing! big plus for me and you spray it on and then use a soft brush dirt comes of clean leaving a shiny, beautiful, coat!! perfect after a bath and even after rolling to get clean!

I use only Canter on his glorious tail--and after 6 month--with no more pulling and hair loss, his tail was just that: Glorious! His mane, on the other hand, gets pulled at by a pony (part of grooming I'm told), and looks ragged. Oh well. I would by Canter, by all means!

I can't say that it helps the tail grow, but it did a great job of reducing hair breakage which made it seem to grow thicker, faster. My horse kept his hair, so the hair could actually grow longer instead if breaking off.
Yes, Absorbine Santa Fe Conditioner was recommended by my trainer and we used it and it helped condition and prevent breakage, encouraged our horse's mane and tail to grow. We love the product.
That's sort of like asking if a human hair conditioner helps your hair grow... I buy them and hope they do but I do not know the scientific proof... Hope that helps...
I purchased this to help with tangles, my horse has a very thick tail & I could not get the brush through it without this product. I am not sure about growth, sorry.
