They don't run as small as everyone says!
I ended up returning the pony size boots I bought for my welsh cob/TB (15.2HH) horse. The cob size just fits him. I have only used them once so far. The velcro is VERY sticky. I am hoping it will be less so when they are used more although it certainly makes it safer. I am used to shipping boots that have a harder plastic around the bottom. these are soft all the way down. The fur lining feels nice although not as convenient to hose off. They seem like they would be fine if I put them in the washing machine so that is a plus - and they are very nice looking.

Great boots! Before you order, look at size chart.
Love love love these boots. I always hated the idea of shipping boots because the way they would slide down the horses legs. I read the reviews and ordered a size cob for my 16.1 hand thoroughbred and they fit perfect! No sliding down at all!

Amigo Traveling Boots
I have a few different sets of traveling boots, however, these Amigo boots are the best traveling boots BY FAR!!!! They are extremely protective, well made and a great price for what you get. Very pleased with these boots. They absolutely cover a horses foot, leg and up over hind hocks. My girl was well protected on her long haul!!!!!

Love these boots!
These travel boots are a great quality and cute design. We got the gray with orange edges. They look super cute on our Palomino. I would highly recommend them. I remember reading a review before we bought them about the sizes running big, but we did not have a problem with that. I thought the fit was perfect.

Great Quality
I bought two pair of these, I have a big quarter horse and a large stocky pony. I read the reviews about everyone saying these ran large and would not stay up on the horses legs. So I bought both pairs in pony size and they fit my horses great! They stayed in place they entire trip in the trailer, never slipped down! I think other people have problems with these falling down simply because they ordered the wrong size. Easy to throw in the wash, comes clean easily, nice soft sheepskin type material on inside, seem comfortable for the horse. These were slightly more expensive than the other plain black pair state line tack has but the cheaper ones only came in one size. The Velcro is super strong on these. I'm very very happy with my purchase and would 100% recommend these!
Nice shipping boots
I order 2 additional sets of shipping boots after the first set arrived due to the quality. When the last two pairs arrived I laid them out to compare and make sure all was okay All was good except the labels on the rear leg boots of one pair. They had been sewn on upside down. Since I had 3 total sets to compare, I was able to figure out why the one set was different. It looks like one horse will be trailered around for the next few years with mis-matched boots.
Run a little big
I love these boots.They clean up well and stay in place. I've used them several times now on two different horses (one 15.1 hands and one 16.2 hands). Both times they stayed up and did the job. However, they do run large. I ordered the cob size and they swallowed by 15.1 hand horse and actually fit the 16.2 hand horse. They work, they protect, they are well made, and clean up well.....just be aware they do run large. Great price for four as well.
Only used them once but they worked fine. They did not slip down like my old ones did. They stayed in place.

Should I order pony or cob sized for my 14.3 hand horse?
BEST ANSWER: The measurements would mean more if you explained how you are measuring. From the ground to the top of the hock? If you would say a cob is generally around a 1000 lb horse it would help everyone. Is that an accurate statement about a cob?

Cob size for sure. I've used the cob size on a 15.1 and a 16.2 hand horse. They were big enough for both.
I think they run a little large so buy accordingly. The horse size fits my 16 hand paint perfectly.
Cob - I ordered pony size for my large pony and they were too small to cover the front of his legs

BEST ANSWER: Yes and they are very nice shipping boots., They just didn't fit our mare. They are quite large for their size so if your horse is on the small size, I would recommend the cob size.

Yes and they are holding up very well! Good fit for my 15.2 hand paint horse and a great quality boot.

BEST ANSWER: All 4. Though I have not used them yet, they seem to be well made. Aborted different pair that were more expensive he wore them once and broke them so that's why I got these but they seem to be made a little more durable so for the price I think it was a pretty good deal

Good news! The price includes the four protectors. They are easy to put on & take off; the velcro tabs
hold the boots in place quite well.
I got really tired trying to pull on the velcro to get them on and off - it is VERY sticky!
Received all 4. Know these are big...too large for my 15.1 quarter horse.
Four boots. 2 for front legs and 2 for back legs.

I purchased the Cob size for my 15 hand Arab (Who is rather large boned for an Arab) and they fit him great. And I believe would even have a little room to give on a larger boned horse. I hope this helps!
I would buy the horse size. I bought both horse and cobb the cobb size was for a 14.2 hand fine boned horse. horse size should fit perfect.
