Love this product, used it for years. It has the highest % of ingredients, and provides multiple ingredients that address joint needs. Plus, it has no fillers! Best product of all others. All of ANIMED products are good, cost effective, and no fillers.

I have used this product for 7 or more years on my arthritic quarter horse. Keeps him comfortable and rideable at 24 years old. I am now purchasing it for my 9 year old paint to use as a preventative.

My 28 year old TWH has been on this since he was 13. He has never had any lameness, hot spots or arthritis swelling. He moves just as beautifully now as when he was 2-gait champion at 5 years old. I swear by this product.

I have been using this for my gaited horses for over 10 years, and it definitely keeps them more flexible as they age.

I purchased this product as a complete joint supplement that was cost effective for my four horses. Specifically that hyaluronic acid is included.
Laurel F on Nov 28, 2013
Good joint supplement for my old, arthritic gelding. Makes him feel much better!
Crystal R on Nov 25, 2013
Use this item for a foundered TWH gelding for general health reasons. Price is right for quality. Might be hard to get a picky eater to consume, but my boy eats it fine.

I have heard great things about this product and was told that I could use it on my two Great Pyrenees. One weighs 120 lbs and the other 130 lbs. I'm trying to figure out the dosage. Would a half of a teaspoon be about right?
Thank you in advance for your help!

BEST ANSWER: Hello. I looked to see if there was a dosage for dogs on the label and didn't see one. Then I looked just a recommended doses of glucosamine for dogs to see if that would give a starting point. While looking at that, I read one article that said you can overdose a dog on glucosamine and have side effects that include diarrhea. So, I came away with the idea that I would consult my vet :) If you become more knowledgeable, please share what you learn! i have used cosequin for my mature dogs but would love to try this as I like the product for my horses.
Dog dosage?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sorry for the delayed response. Our two Great Pyrenees took it and one weighed 146 lbs and the other 120 lbs. We started off at a little more than a 1/4 of a teaspoon and less than 1/2 of teaspoon and went gradually to 1/2 of a teaspoon per dog. You can always tell when a dog has too much glucosamine, which will give them diarrhea.
Hope that helps
Is it safe for cats?
A shopper on Sep 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I believe that there are better suited products for cats. You should check with your vet to see if any of the ingredients are contraindicated for cats. I use it for my 100 lb dog and it was developed for horses. I have to reduce the dosing instructions considerably and cannot imagine reducing them again for my 9 lb cat.
