This product helps my 20 year old Arabian get through allergy season as well as stopping his reactions to fly bites resulting in sweet itch.

My 20 year old Arabian has bad skin issues in the spring and summer without this product. My local tack shop and farm and fleet stopped stocking it. Glad State Line Tack had it in stock or it would have been an end to his lesson giving season!

Meryl L on Oct 11, 2017
My horse has seasonal allergies. His nose runs, his eyes run, and the flies attack his eyes and nose. I bought this to try. He wouldn't touch it. Didn't like the smell or taste, even when I mixed it with his grain. I wish it was returnable. I did finally figure out I could wet a horse treat and dip it in the powder to get him to take it. It is a hassle and he doesn't need the extra calories, but it works and if you can get this in your horse, it seems to help with his runny eyes and nose.

We used this product last year and it really works.

My haflinger has seasonal allergies and difficulty breathing at times. He seems much more comfortable using this product as most outward products did not do much to relieve his itching.
Patricia T on Jan 25, 2017
My horse broke out all over with hives a few days ago. She does that when the weather changes suddenly. Our barn manager had this product in her supplies and gave it to my mare. It worked in one day! No more hives and rubbing on everything in sight.

Which would be better for heaves Histall H or AniHist H ?
Christa D on May 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you go to Animed's website, they have a vet that will answer your question for free. I bought Anihist for allergies my horse has. I had a horse about 15 years ago that had heaves and we used Cough Free. It helped that horse for a while, but if it's bad, I would contact your veterinary since the over the counter remedies are all natural. The vet may have a prescription drug that would work much better. I ended up getting shots for my horse's allergies, he was rubbing the hair off his hide!
How long does the container last? I can't find a weight or feeding instructions.
A shopper on Oct 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There are instructions in the product summary... 1oz 2x/day for 10 days, then 1 oz daily. This is for horses that have recurring allergy problems. I still have about half a container from a year or so ago and usually don't give it quite as much or long as they say (about 1/2 oz 2x/day), then 1/2 oz for a few more days. That's usually enough unless there is something in the pasture that triggers allergic responses again.
Is this good for sinus?
A shopper on Feb 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes indeed! My 16 year old paint mare is allergic to trees, pollen and pretty much everything, I give her this every year from spring to early fall, no more sinus problems! Love it!
is this good for am clear runny nose?
A shopper on Jun 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We actually give our horse Animed ImmuAid for his daily allergies during the spring and summer including clear runny nose and give him Histall as an all around year long histimine! They are all natural and work better than any expensive vet prescription!
Can this be used for dogs who have allergies?
Stephanie D on Mar 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know. I'd suggest asking your veterinarian (being sure to tell him/her the ingredients. You could also compare the ingredients to known dog allergy meds.
