I liked it because the cheek straps are all one piece. I didn't like the idea of the long free hanging one.

Looking for a black noseband bridle and thought I'd try this. I think it will also be useful when I add clips for using on my 2 year old and it makes it easy to change out bits.

Can this item be just used as a halter?
sue w on Dec 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yes, ditch the buckles and replace them with Square Eye Trigger Snaps, your bit will be removable in seconds. Add the same buckles to your reins and you can do the same thing for lead rope use.
This halter bridle comes with reins. Are the reins split reins or looped?
Alex V on May 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: the reins i got were attached with a buckle you can undo to make the split reins. i had to buy a different pair of reins because i have a warmblood with a very long neck
Does this come in over sized?
A shopper on Mar 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't think so. I bought this for my 16HH TWH that has a huge head. Standard horse size headstalls pinched him around his ears and the throat latch barely reached. This fits him nicely and there is room to add more holes to adjust it larger if needed. This was the only headstall I could find that had the ring connection at the brow/headband/throat area and I think it's much more comfortable for the horse.
How are these reins measured? Is each side 5ft for a total of 10ft?
Nicole S on Feb 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes they are, 60 inches each
How is leather quality on this bridle? This will be for my husband who's a retired leather worker/saddle maker, and he's particular about leather quality. But he likes how it's designed so only question is "will the leather hold up, yet still be flexible/comfortable?"
Val T on Mar 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We've been super pleased with these bridles and the quality of the leather- it's soft and supple and strong. Great value overall. We get into some really touch terrain and these bridles have held up well for mountain rides in all weather conditions. Definitely recommend.
Can you use as Bitless bridle, or do you need to add the bit?
A shopper on Jun 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This cannot be used as a bitless bridle.
