Nice Product
Great product, it was the exact type of light-weight material I was looking for. It ended up being too small for my gelding. Probably would be better for a horse with a smaller head. Fits my mare great.

This halter is so cheaply made your horse will break out of it. The buckles are thin cheap metal that you can bend with your hands. Don't waste your money on these. They look nice in the photos but the are trash. You can't trust controlling a 1200 lb animal with this cheap chinese halter.
Poor quality buckle and snap
Poor quality metal fittings. Buckle is thin. Throat snap is so stiff I cannot operate it.
Great Value
This is a very good basic halter, for a great price. Doesn't have heavy duty brass hardware, but is decent enough for general use.
Light weight halters
I buy these halters a lot because they are thin and light weight. They are great field halters. I keep them on my horses year round.The only thing is the throat snap is hard to hook & unhook but not on all of them. If the snaps were easy to use this would be the perfect light weight halter. Cant beat the price.
Nice halters at a reasonable price
Picked these halters up so I could have several "disposable" halters but turns out I really like them. They are very light weight which is what I was hoping for, yet not cheap. The colors are very true to how they look on line too.
Affordable quality
I needed an inexpensive halter to put my shipping helmet onto so I did not have to rig & unrig her halter each time I trailered her. This halter fit the bill perfectly - room for going over the helmet, light weight & easy snap for putting on and taking off.
FIts a bit small - lightweight and thin
This is a very economical halter. Nice to have as a spare or use for craft purposes like beading and adding conchos, etc. Not very heavy material or hardware, would recommend for light use only. Fits a little small around the muzzle - maybe a good idea to order a large for an average sized horse. That being said, they are very inexpensive!
Large doesn't always fit; otherwise good value
Bought 2 of these in large size. One fit perfectly, one was way too small. The one that didn't fit was for an 1100 pound horse. The one we use is very nice, seems sturdy. I'd buy again for our gelding (about 1000 pounds).
Way too Small and Snap can't even unsnap
This halter was tiny. I purchased the medium/average and it is more like a small/yearling. Also, the snap, you cannot unsnap at all. I would not recommend this product for anyone.
Good for the price
I purchased these to use only during feeding. They are serving that purpose. I was looking for the least expensive ones I could find that had the snap and these were it. I would not buy them for more extensive use as they are not as durable as the 3 or 4 ply ones, as you would expect, but for the price they are good.
Ok for the price
This halter fits both my horses (average size) but the snap is really really difficult to use so defeats the purpose of buying one with a snap.
Nice Product
I use this halter to give baths to my 17hh QH gelding with an (average) sized head and he doesn't mind it! even dripping wet the blue suits him well. I recommend this to anyone for any use! Nice price too

I got this halter a month ago and it still looks bran new I have a 15hh morgan and the large fit him red looks orange-red but is very pretty!
AMAZING HALTER!
i just got this halter in lime green and im in love. nice heavy soft nylon and the hardware is amazing! i made this a break away by buying replacemend breakway fold over's with the scews, cut off the little nylon part connecting the snap ring to the adjustable strap and attached the leather piece, now i have a beautiful and safe halter for turn out, i'd recomend doing that if u buy this halter! its excelent quality!!

Great Product
This blue halter looks great on my brown QH gelding.I dont leave them on them though and its catches dirt easy but is very lightweight and the price is great!
nice halter
this halter is very nice, but in the picture, the snap is gold, but when i recived it mine was silver. its not a big deal though, my bay morgan mare looks gorgeous in the green. overall, nice halter.
Good halter
I had no trouble with fitting, and the blue looks great on my black/white paint. The only thing I thought was weird was the buckle, not the throatlatch, the buckle was kind of weak, and if my horse got caught on something and bent it, the halter would be ruined. But otherwise, its pretty good for the price!
This halter is HUGE! :(
This halter barely fits my dad's quarter horse when it's on the smallest hole! And his horseÂs head is big. This halter fits our Belgian half draft and he takes on the Belgian head (a huge draft head) so disappointed wanted this halter for an average horse. Not worth it to even send back cause of the price.

Bought the red one of these halters about 5 months ago. Very nice bold colors. It has been my horses main halter, and I have never had an issue with the throat snap. It snaps open and closed like any other normal halters would. Its super easy to clean. Just through it in the washer, or dip it in some water and let it air dry. The material is a bit stiff but nothing to really complain about. I would def buy another one of these halters. Thanks StateLineTack

Bad fastener
The snap on the throatlatch breaks on every single one of these halters I own. not easily replacable and useless without throatlatch. A waste of your money - you'll have to get a new halter in less than 1 year.
It's not half bad
I love it, it's beautiful, light, strong and I think it'll last a long time. It's definitely a comfortable fit on my horse and I highly recommend it!PS. I love the blue one!

I was having a hard time finding a halter for my Arab cross mare and this one fit quite nicely! The buckle did bend but that was after almost a year of use.

I bought this halter a year age for my daughters paint horse and he absolutely loves it and he looks so cute. This is a great halter for the peice. So if you want a great halter for a great price get this on e it will last a long time!
Bad Product
We ordered this item as an emergency halter, or a back up one. Unfortunatly, thats all we WILL use it for. It is made of a rough, horrible material, like a seat belt, except so much rougher. there is no way ANYBODY will ever be able to undo the throat snap. Even men have tried to open it. I havent put it on a horse yet, so I'm not sure of the fit.The quality is really bad. Its a dollar store halter, I think. Its not even made in the USA. The max i would ever pay for this is $5. The throatlatch is a waste of money and hardware because it doesn't even work. But for the price, it will be an ok emergancy halter.

BEST ANSWER: My largest halter is the medium and it is almost too big for my 1100lb gelding. I would get a large for your Friesian. If it is too large or too small you can what I do and use a soldering iron to melt extra holes. You can't go wrong at the price.

I bought the small halter to use with my yearlings. I use size large on my large warmblood mares, so it should fit your Friesian.
This halter runs big! A medium is too big for a quarter horse. So you'll be safe with a large

what size haler will a 9hh pony wear?
BEST ANSWER: They run on the large side. I have a 1200- 1400lb horses and I ordered a large. The halter are all big. I had to poke extra holes in all of mine. Now they are fine.
