My favorite lead rope
I love this lead rope. It lives outside on the paddock fence and weathers well. It doesn't absorb water and dirt can be easily shaken or rinsed off of it. The snap is replaceable but doesn't ever need replacing because it's not flimsy. It's easy to tie, light weight and feels good to my hand.

Braided lead
This lead is very lightweight. I was expecting something more durable.

No...Just No.
The snap is heavier than the lead...that should tell you enough.

Mainly for show and good color
Was expecting this to have an internal core of some kind. It is just a loose weave of a couple of nylon straps with air inside. It is an odd feeling when you are used to a thick rope. It is probably good if you are needing a halter for good appearance.

Has Good and Bad Features
The good: long length; seems well made; easy to change from snap to chain; pretty colorsThe bad: very light and not as wide in my hand b/c it's hollowOf course, my "bad" may be just what you're looking for.

My favorite lead
I have had one of these leads for nearly 10 years and it is still my favorite!! Great quality and durable for a great price. I'm just now buying this again in a new color :-)

Lasts outside
I've had one of these ropes for over a year and it has spent the whole time attached to the halter hung on the paddock gate. I got a second rope last week and, when I washed the old one, it looks just as nice and is just as soft as the new one.Rope is much lighter than my cotton and nylon ones and also a bit shorter - perfect for leading two horses at once as it doesn't weigh down my hands or have lots of excess length to deal with.

Not what I was expecting...
I was really disappointed with this lead rope after all the wonderful reviews I read on it. When I received it, it just felt SO cheap. The weave on the lead isn't even tight, it's very loose. Not very sturdy. So no surprise I had it a week and the snap is already broken. It is now in the garbage. I recommend buying a different product personally.

The best of all possible leadropes!
I use these around the barns and have found that their qualities far outweigh other leads.1. Bright, easy to see. Not likely to get misplaced around the barn or laying out in the fields.2. Just enough stretch and a good, long length. Easy to make into a war bridle and long enough so that you can hang onto your horse and still work around his back feet!3. Sturdy. These won't rot and the brass hardware won't rust. Horses can pull on them, but not break them.4. Durable. These will NOT fade in the bright sunlight and always look good. Wash up easily too.

These lead ropes are the best for leaving outside on the paddock fence. They weather well and don't get water logged. The length is perfect for leading horses into the barn and tying them because there is not an excess of rope to get in the way.

I picked this item because the nylon will be long-lasting yet pliable.

I love these ropes. Very durable. Snap on lead can be changed out to a bull snap if desired.

Unique enough to know it is mine and not ordinary enough for another horseman to walk off with

My horses break any lead rope they have had except THIS one. The nylon webbing and heavy duty snap make them impervious against my headstrong herd.

I have owned horses for 40 years and these leads ropes have never let me down, I have had horses that enjoy breaking ropes but they have never broken this kind.
