We use lunge lines for walking our dogs. I have always used the flat lines. I am giving round a try.

How long is it?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Big enough to lunge a 20 meter circle, i usually have slack in the line
how long is the lunge line?
A shopper on Mar 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is plenty long and I don't have the exact measurement. It works fine.
Is this a soft rope and eo they come in black?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I don't know if it comes in black, but it is soft and easy to to handle. I probably wouldn't use it with a horse that pulls a lot while lunging, but it is great for my haflinger and my pony.
will this rub your hand raw if the horse runs away and tears right through your hand? or, is it pretty soft.
dashie on Nov 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I love this lunge line it’s soft and small and I have small hands so it’s easy for me to handle - however Its not made well, after 2 or 3 uses the clip broke. Since I have a pretty well mannered horse it didn’t cause me a problem but it could have been a wreck for sure - love the rope, clip mechanism is very cheap so be aware of that
Is the clip on it small and light weight or is it big and heavy? I would prefer one without it at all honestly but this one is not so expensive.
A shopper on Feb 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It’s fairly small and not heavy but certainly sturdy enough for all my work and I’ve used it a lot. I love the feel of this lunge line and will be getting another for myself and my daughter would like one as well.
Will this withstand training young, green horses and troubled horses?
A shopper on Nov 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I found this lunge line too light weight for my use with my mellow more mature and trained gelding. I prefer a heavier rope for training purposes and have used the one I purchase only for miscellaneous purposes around the barn.
What is the draw back?
A shopper on Sep 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don’t find any drawbacks to this product. The length is good, weight and soft feel are good and clip is good. It doesn’t look or feel particularly heavy duty, but I use mine regularly and have even tied my horse with it when my regular lead was elsewhere and it is plenty sturdy.
