what is the width of the noseband?
A shopper on Mar 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I happen to have my bridle at home, so I just made a few measurements for you. The actual width of the noseband is 1 1/4 inch. The nose band is 1/4 inch thick. The noseband unbuckled and laying flat is 2 feet, 7 inches long. It has 8 holes punched for adjustment. Its the only bridle that I've found that fits my horses nose, and brow and at the pole, his ears are now comfortable. The leather is of good quality requiring little breaking in. I hope hope this is helpful for you.
I have a part quarter/part Belgian. He is only 16 hands but has a pretty large head- he can fit in a warmblood size bridle. Would I need "full" or "oversize"? Is full like a regular quarterhorse or more of a warmblood size?

BEST ANSWER: I have a 17 hand Holsteiner who normally wears an oversized bridle. He needs the longer browband and caveson. The oversized caveson on this bridle is very long. It might be too big. Check the length of the brow band and caveson to see if the full would work.
