My horses have long necks and when it comes to drinking on a ride, I hope to not have to bend over "6 miles" to let them drink. haha

easy to keep clean, no mold, eas to adjust. I take off the clips, One less thing to clang and confuse the horses mouth.

Why is this item called SPLIT reins? It's only one rein that attaces to each side of the bit. Split reins are not joined in the middle and each rein is attach at only one end of the bit.
A shopper on Dec 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Split reins are defined as: A rein style seen in western riding where the reins are not attached to one another at the ends.
Is the length measured with the snaps installed end to end?
Karen M on Aug 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes the rein measures from end-to-end 9' long x 1/2 wide it fix my horse fine
Do they feel like plastic and make your hands sweat?
Emily S on Jul 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They don't feel like slippery plastic, more like soft rubber with a little grip to it. They don't make my hands sweat any more than regular reins on a hot, muggy, Florida afternoon. They are comfortable and easy to clean with just a rinse with the hose.
