Looking for QUICK stable leg protection for my boy that the staff will be willing to put on and are reasonably fool proof. I have been using the Tough 1 felt lined travel pads for about 2 months( perfect size for my 15 .2 hh WB with short thick canons) but recently I have noticed that the felt is balling and has possibly caused sore spots. Would REALLY love the Ionic quick wraps but they are beyond my $$ for now so giving these a try.

I need a leg wrap to keep my horse's legs warm and dry while being stabled outside in a run. He has laminitis, and needs his legs to stay warm and dry. What do I use?

BEST ANSWER: These work well. I have used long term to support the front legs of crippled horse. There are others on the market, but much more expensive. Follow directions when putting on and be sure not to make too tight, especially around the middle where the tendons are. My vet suggested I also keep a quilted leg wrap underneath for extra protection, and make sure and remove every day or two and check.
Are these good for trailers?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I use them to prevent bed sores on my horses ankles. He is very hard on them, but they have held up well to the abuse and have never come open even after a couple years of everyday use and frequent washes. I think they would work fine for shipping except on a horse that likes to scramble in the trailer.
R these 44 a piece? or 44 a pair?
Sonya B on Nov 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Per pair!
DO I order 12 inch or 14 inch for 16.5 warmblood?
A shopper on Aug 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a 15 hand Quater Horse and I bought the 12 inch for the front and 14 inch for his hind legs. Fit great.
can you use a poultice with these?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. They're just like standing wraps. You probably won't get the same amount of tension you could get in regular wraps, but they do stay put nicely.
