Does this have grip on the back to keep from slipping off the saddle?
    Nora N on Jan 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The cushion has a foam bottom. Stays well in position. Also has a back strap to pull around behind cantle and adjust and tighten to your saddle, that helps secure it as well
Does this make your seat any more secure?
    Michelle L on Sep 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: A better idea is to keep your weight and balance in your legs, similar to a skiers stance with your 3rd point of control the back of the seat. These cushions work to relieve soreness on a short term basis. Do not use these if your horse has any kind of motor or moves-jerks sideways when confronted with things it does not recognize. You may then learn how to use a neck brace or body cast.
