Great for fly protection
Very nice boots but my paddock is very muddy and the mesh hangs on to that mud... making protection of my horse's wound a little less effective. Would use these all the time in a dryer environment.

Satisfied
Horses are tough on everything, so don't expect these fly boots to make it through multiple summers. They cost as much as a bottle of fly spray, so they are a good investment for the summer. I'm happy with this purchase.

Keeps flies off and lets sores heal.

Highly recommended
This is the perfect solution for battling summer sores. The padding in the countour helps keep bandages on place with the added comfort for the horses. A real barn saver. Iâ??m so glad we saw these.

These boots worked well the first two weeks, then they wouldn't stay up. One horse had them off with in the first week and totaled them.

I just got a horse that seems to be very sensitive to fly bites. His front legs are getting very bad and fly spray is not staying on in the field well enough

I have a horse that is very sensitive to flys. I fear he will do damage to his joints stomping flys.

Good product for the price. The only boots that have not rubbed my horse or ripped quickly. They are a bit large on my small horse but still work.

how many come in a pack? 2 or 4?
Jeanine B on May 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These come as a pair, and in average horse size.
How many does one order come with?
A shopper on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: One order is two boots - one for left leg and one for right leg (velcro on outside). I get about 3 weeks of use before the mesh has ripped too much to make them useful (but my guys are out from 5:30 a.m. til 9:00 p.m. on 30 acres of turnout so that's a lot of wear). I machine wash them in an old pillow case, secured with a pony tail holder, once a week and they dry in a matter of hours. You might consider ordering two pair at a time so save on shipping.
Do these stay up?
Carol j on Jun 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes they stay up. I have 4 horses. They are working great. One side slides a little on my Draft horse, but they are saving his hooves. He stomps all day long with the flies and with the fly boots he doesn't stomp hardly at all; therefore, his hooves are not cracking. I also have a small horse they fit her well too. I was concerned about the different horse sizes when I ordered.
Can these be used on both front and back legs or only front?
A shopper on Jul 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes they can. I ordered 2 pair initially for the fronts of 2 horses. We tried them out on all 4 legs and they fit great. They have also held up really well so far this summer. Our horses have been wearing them almost daily.
Would these fly boots be good to keep on for around 12 hrs while in a stall?

I'm looking for some fly boots that are good quality but not to $$, and that don't slip, are these the ones your recommend?
Bentley on Apr 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They fit well and were doing great. Then I returned from work and my very young gelding with a very high play drive had yanked off 2, stomped them in the mud and left them for me. He destroyed them.. Went through 2 more pairs until he accepted them. Great to defend from flies. Must fit well if you do not want slippage.
how tall are they?
j j on Aug 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I just measured mine. Stretched out they are 14".
Fyi. They fit my 17 hand horse just as well as they fit my 15.3 hand horse. I love these boots.
are these sold individually or as a pair?
lisa g on Apr 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Lisa,

The fly boots are sold in pairs. They have held up really well and don't slide down his legs. I like the fact that they are taller fly boots and cover more of the leg. Hope this helps.
How many boots are included in this price?
A shopper on May 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It was a pack of 2 so for one horse you would need to order two sets of these
Will these fit an 14.2 hand Arabian?
A shopper on Jul 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Probably will be too big. I have a just shy of 15 hand Rocky Mountain gaited horse. Her legs are thinner than my quarter horse. I tried putting them on upside down but just fell down and slipped off.
How many come, 4? or 2?
A shopper on May 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These boots are sold as a pair.
do these fit mini horses?
Valegro on Aug 21, 2017
