Great product!!!
I mixed it with other ingredients to make a fly spray and it seems to be working quite well!

50 cents for a 32 ounce bottle when mixed
Very inexpensive, very safe for humans, dogs, and horses from what I've read, and can actually kill lice and ticks at higher concentrations. Made from Chrysanthemums.
It is not safe for bees or fish, so keep it away from flowers and water. Bad for cats.

I Believe something has changed...
This used to be the only fly spray I would use, easy, cost effective when diluted and could use on premises & horses. Either the flies have become stronger or the permethrin has become weaker. Not as good as it used to be anyway. Haven't really figured out what else to do yet, to many sprays & some at really high prices to use daily here in Florida.

Best complete home animal and land insect control!
Best stuff in the word! Can use it On animals as dip or spray. In the home, yard, field, garage, barn.
We got it for flea infestation that our neighborhood got a couple of years ago and it was the only thing that worked. So when the infestation came back this year we knew what to do!

Used it for years
This is one of my favorite products since it kills all insects, it is residual and lasts a long time in the barn or house and is not toxic to mammals so I can use the diluted spray on young pets and stock without worrying. It is toxic to fish so I have to be careful in the house so I cover my aquariums before spraying. I also watch the wind when spraying near any outside fish. I spray around the patio when having outside events and it controls flies and mosquitoes. I spay my horses and cattle during fly season. IT WORKS

Best Fly Product of this Kind
I've used this product from other stores and it doesn't work as well as this 1. You actually can see the flies dissipate.

Excellent for pasture mules
This will keep the ticks off my mules for several weeks at a time. I've used it for lice on older horses too. Wonderful product. Mix according to directions and apply with latex gloves. It works! Test a small area on your sensitive equines before applying overall. Great for pasture animals.

This product kills bugs!
Permethrin is an excellent product to control all kinds of bugs: mosquitos, flys, etc. It can also be safely sprayed on clothes.

Safe and effective
Easy to mix with water to use. Read the dosage instructions for different concentrations. Can be used as an area de-bugger as well as applied directly on animals but in a much weaker concentration. This is also about the most minimally toxic to humans bug killer there is. Google it for more info, compare to other insecticides, safety, etc..

I mix my own fly spray and this is the main ingredient. Works pretty well, but is not residual. I do have to apply spray every day.
EDIE S on Jun 20, 2018
Have used it over the years and it is very cost effective. Recently have added a few essential oils to help when the bugs are really bad.

Nothing can replace this using Country Vet 13.3% Permethrin Concentrate to lightly spray around the fresh shaving, while the horses are out of the stalls. It surely keeps down the flies. That works for me, less flies - healthier happy horse!

What about fleas?
David Y on Sep 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Fleas, yes it may work for fleas, but do some research about Permethrin. I saw that for cats it is "no" because it is very toxic to them when wet & Not to ever put it onto them, but it said that you could do their premesis if you removed the cats and waited until the spray was completely dry to put them back. That made me very nervous, so I did not use it their "area" but did use it in other areas of my house where the cats did not live.
Does this product work for flys?
Rita E on Feb 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, works for flies. Any product with Permethrin will knock out the stuffing out of any and all pesky bugs, flies, fleas, ticks and what ever else is bugging you. I always have a supply of this concentrate on hand, great stuff.
I need to know how to mix this in a smaller size (like by the gallon ...?
K S on Sep 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There should be an instruction booklet attached to the bottle that you can open to see the specific instructions for various uses. It depends on what concentrate you want to make, so you need to carefully read through the booklet to decide. However, I use this for horses to spray on at a medium concentrate, and I mix approx 1 oz with water in a 1 quart sprayer.
does it treat mosquitos and fleas?
David Y on Sep 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I do not know if it is effective against mosquitoes and fleas. I spray the house on the outside from mid-August through October every two weeks. It is very effective in stopping flies and conifer bugs from entering the house.
Can this product be sprayed directly onto pregnant cows for controlling horn flys?
A shopper on Jun 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I do not have cows but we have used it on pregnant mares. My suggestion is for you to find the detailed package insert which has more information than the label on the bottle. The insert may be attached to the bottle 'under' the visable label held in place by a clear tape that allows for it to be returned to the original position. If you have not yet purchased the product, perhaps you can search for it by name on the web and find the manufacturer's site with those directions for use made available.
