Loved for Over 8 Years!
I have been using about 12 of these in each stall and outdoor run in shed for over 8 years now. Unless you want to splurge for the $1,500 professionally done units, these are JUST fine! They do an excellent job and my horses KNOW to run in the shed even when out to pasture, if they are having any issues with flies or mosquitos; they stand under them till they get sprayed. I spend a good $120 a month restocking in the summer, but totally worth it!!!

I thought I was ordering the 12 pack with the repellent in it. It arrived as the Mosquito and fly spray without the repellant. My horses needed it ASAP so I installed what was sent. Seems to work well but I thought the one with repellent would be better.

Great stall control
Have been using these in the stalls for the last two years. Within a few days of turning them on for the season there is a drastic reduction in the amount of flies in the stalls and barn. I have hem in my rin in sheds too and they work great controlling flies there.

This product works very well However wht there no longer is a can that works for 90 days is beyond me. Years ago I could use the same can for 30 days - bigger doses or 90 day smaller doses for different area or times of the year.

I've been using this spray for years, and it really works. I can always tell when the can is empty, mosquitos start showing up. Have a bug free run in shed
Use the CS Country Vet Mosquito&Fly refills in my horse’s run in shed. They really work! There are no flies, mosquitoes, wasps or bees in the shed. Here in buggy Georgia that is exactly what I want. They last for at least 30 days being sprayed every 15 minutes. The horses love having a bug free zone. Great value for the money! Definitely recommend them.

The fly and mosquito spray reduces the number of flies and mosquitoes that bother him while he is in his stall. I have two of them and place them on either side of his fan and they blow the spray on him every 15 minutes. Works great! The case lasts one season.

Potency Diminished
I have been buying this product from these folks for about a year and my last batch was far less potent than previous batches. I am not sure if it their fault unless it has something to do with storage and handling. My wife not happy.Plus, I kept getting emails offering 30% discounts on purchases and that discount was not available for this product. Very disappointed.

This product is an excellent deterrent to mosquitoes.
This is used at our animal shelter and provides great protection from mosquitoes. In Florida, this is a year round concern. Great in helping with the prevention of deadly heartworms.
Flies and mosquitoes not welcome
Until I found out about this product, for most of the year I couldn't sit outside in my back yard without being bombarded with flies.Once we installed the auto-spritzer, sitting in my yard has become a pleasure.
Best for our purposes.
We have a dispenser at each door to our house and this works perfect to prevent mosquitoes and flies from coming in. Tried the one just for flies and it only works on flies not mosquitoes. Love that it's safe for our pets and not an unpleasant or intrusive smell. We change it once a month and stock up so we don't run out. Wish it was cheaper but it's worth every cent!

Been using this a long time, even when it was just for flies.Adding the Mosquito control is a plus.I keep them spaced around barn, in garage and on patio.Clean your barn often so as not to draw as many flies. Get rid of as much standing water as you can to slow down the mosquito's egg laying. A clean and bug free barn is a happy barn!
Love this product for pest control
Have used this for years now. Have 2 dispensers on both sides of my back door and this really controls the incoming flying insects. Highly recommend this especially in the summer time.

This is a great product for keeping flies and mosquitos away. Especially important now with so many diseases being transmitted by mosquitos. StateLine is great to do business with. Does the job
I use this system in my 5 stall barn in Galveston. We have a lot of mosquitos. I have 4 sprayers around the perimeter facing inward and it does the job of keeping the barn mosquito free. Sometimes the smell is a bit strong.
These work really well for me. I have two 12'x12' stalls, and I keep a sprayer in each stall during fly season. One of my horses NEVER uses his stall for a bathroom, so that helps, but I noticed a big difference in lingering flies once I started using these. They usually last about a month per can, and I know I'll continue to use them.
Pay a little more and get the good stuff.
I have been using the battery automatic sprayers for a long time now. I have used the lesser spray (for just flies and not as strong) without the good results I get using this product. It is well worth the extra money to be able to walk by my shedrow and not see or feel a single fly. Mosquitos are non existent. I live in a rural small acerage (1/2 to 1 acre properties) neighborhood and flies from my property are not an issue, but flies and bugs from my neighbors are, so these sprayers and max sprays work really well at keeping my horses comfortable........

Easy to use and EFFICIENT Fly & Mosquito Control
I have used the Regular Country Vet Fly Sprayers for years. I chose to spend a bit more for the Mosquito Control Formula this year because of the wet year we have had in my area. Works GREAT! Well worth the extra $ to deter the mosquitos and it DOES contain a higher percentage of pyrethrins than the fly formula alone.
Great fly control
We use these at our barn every summer once fly season is in full swing. Between these and the Equitrol feed through fly product, we are practically fly free and horses and humans enjoy a pest free summer around the barn. They do have a scent, so if you are sensitive to traditional fly spray smell, it may not be for you, and you do have to replace them once a month, but we have found it to be worth it. We use them 3+ months out of the year and have 4 in our barn aisle that are spread out to keep flies out of the aisle and stalls. Horses and humans are very happy with this product.

Been using this product for 1 yr. now with good results. Installed around my back patio to control mosquitos and works fairly well. Doesn't eliinate but makes them tolerable. Couldn't sit outside without it.
Made a HUGE difference in the number of flies!
We use this product in our outdoor patio area. It is completley open on two sides, but the Country Vet and Mosquito Fly and Spray worked really well. We also have two kennels on our outdoor patio, one for the newborn puppies and another for the older dogs. We are not afraid to use this around our pets.We also use it in our two box stalls for ours horses and it has really made a big differenceWe used to go through 6-8 hanging fly catcher strips every couple days. Since using this product, we don't even need them!Don't get me wrong, the occasional fly does still sneak through, but overall, I could not get through a summer without this stuff!It has a pleasant, light citronella scent. It is easy to use the automatic dispenser, and the dispenser beeps like a smoke alarm when the battery gets low.

Yes, they sell an auto dispenser. I love this stuff! I live next to a creek with lots if trees, so we get mosquitoes and flies really bad. I have dispencers in the back yard and am not bothered by mosquitoes or flies any more

What's difference between fly and the mosquito spray?

BEST ANSWER: The only difference I notice is the cost. I'm not sure what the chemical difference is. The fly spray only kills flies. The fly and mosquito spray kills both.
There is no need to replace the batteries every month. The dispenser will operate for roughly a year before the batteries need to be replaced.

This product kills mosquitos AND flies - it is not two different products. You will need the battery operated dispenser box for one of these cans to be put in - it will go off 1 spray every 15 minutes automatically.
This product is as effective on both flies and mosquitos...we use it in our horse barn and it seems to be quite effective. We need to get rid of both!

The Mosquito & Fly Spray has a higher concentration of Pyrethrins (1.76% v .975%) than the Fly Spray. It knocks down the mosquitos better.

The fly spray works great, but if you really want to get Mosquitos too, get the combo spray. More expensive, but worth it.

I found a can that had been knocked off the shelf and rolled under a cabinet. I know it had to have been over a year old.
I buy a case at a time which last a year. I have some that I had longer than that and it works fine
As far as I know it will keep a lond time. I am using cans that are 2 years old.

No, it’s not applied directly to animals. It is an automatic air mist.
