I love this ! SO cute! its on my tack locker so everyone knows which one is mine and stuff. i have stuff in my tack locker for my horse in an emergency (her vet records in great detail, spare halter and lead rope, medical supplies etc. so it helps quickly locate my locker - i bought one for a friend as well for her horse and her locker!

Is there a marker you have used on this that is able to be removed so can be used more than once?
Ricky R on Nov 9, 2013
Best Answer: I used a silver and gold Sharpie "Paint" marker. I wrote on the back to see if it could be removed, and I could remove it at that time either with Clorox Cleanup or nail polish remover; I can't remember which. I then tried both colors on the front and settled on the silver (which means I had to remove the gold). I have not lost a horse yet; so I haven't had to see if the name can still be removed after it has been there for a much longer time; but I felt fairly confident that it would at least be faded enough to be barely detectable after a new name was added. I really like the stall plates and they still look very nice. The only problem I have is unique to me because my horses' stalls open into their loafing area therefore they are able to rub against them and occasionally leave tail hairs in the screws that hold them.

how do i engrave a name plate?
A shopper on Jan 5, 2015
Best Answer: You would have to take the item to a trophy shop or the local mall to have it engraved once you receive it. It's designed for use with a metallic paint-pen or you could apply a decal with your horses name, etc. as well.
