Needs better quality product
Fly repellant seemed to work for the whole 6 days the collar stayed on. Didnt come apart at the snaps, it comes apart where the strap connects to the snap portion. Need to make it more durable. Until they do, ill stick with the spray, wipes, and fly masks.

Disappointed
Really disappointed by this product. They haven't provided any relief for my horses, not even on the very first day. The flys are still all over their legs. The plastic has broken by the snaps and my horses haven't even had them on a week. Save your money.

not worth the price.
It says one size fits most. I have a normal size 1/4 horse and it was way too large. It slid up and down her neck. It came missing some of the gromets so I wasn't able to get a secure latch on the smaller size. The smaller size was still too large. The only thing I liked about it was the smell. It has a nice pleasant smell.

Love it!
I have this and the ankle ones on my horse. She has sensitive skin and these don't irritate and keeps the bugs away. I have also not found ticks while all the other horses are covered this year.

Pros and cons
This would be a 5 star review if it was not for the durability of the material which only last a week or so, as it breaks too easily. Poor construction material. Need to duct tape a couple times to last a month. However, thus said they work excellent. Keeps down the amount of face flies. My horse went from to 1-6 flies at any one time. Before maybe 20-30 flies were on his face at any given time. Works much better than through the feed products I have tried.

Defy the Fly Horse Collar
I bought 4 and they all broke with in the first week. They worked great until they broke. All of mine tended to break wear the white meets the black. I would say don't waste your money.

Worked Great Until It Broke
I really liked this collar, especially with the snaps, but it only lasted 2 weeks before the collar disintegrated, breaking into 4 pieces. Very disappointing. And my mare isn't all that hard on fly collars. If they ever up the quality, I'll buy again. For now they're a waste of money.

Poor Product
I was hoping this product would help my horses in which it did for all about 3 hrs., then the horses rubbed them off and broke the snaps that hold the collar on their necks. I thought I could fix them with velcro, velcro worked but the rest of the collar broke apart at the seam before the snap. Until they fix the problem It is a big waste of money cuz it won't stay on the horses the way it is now.

Great on horses with skin allergies that react badly to sprays. Best used on the dominant horse(s) in the group as the lower ranked horses will get theirs pulled off! Really needs an improvement on the closures as it doesn't last a season.

BEST ANSWER: I'm a customer so I don't know that but they did work great for my big gelding who has allergies to flies. The neck band might work but I think the leg bands may be too large even though they have two adjustments
How many collars are in the package?
Cella N on Jul 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Only one collar per package. I have an old Thoro mare who gets eye troubles every fly season. Started using this Fly Collar three summers ago and no longer experience the pink eye, etc on her. It takes two collars for one summer.
