Do not buy
Broke on first use. Very flimsy. Had to get two before I got one that was useable. Waste of money.

Great for NH driving
I can't say the small standard donkey I drive approves of this product at all, but it sure gets him moving when most of the other whips fail. This is so effective I can do more driving and less nagging. It doesn't crack, so this is not the whip for the dramatic stagecoach effect. It flicks preciscely in a way that makes this donkey respond to just a motion with it next time. It is very helpful for my NH style of training with pressure and release. It is light enough to create a disturbance without actually doing anything, so it can gradually build pressure, and then it has a bit of a bite when the animal is not taking it seriously enough. For people who are wondering about whether the whip will fit their cart and animal, My whip is perfect with my 60" shafts, and my animal, which is sized a little too small for these shafts. I drive a G and S trail cart, and the whip fits right in the holder.

Would this whip be suited in liberty?
Peyton M on Sep 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm not too familiar with liberty classes, however, from what I've seen, the whip would wor in a liberty class. It is shorter than a traditional driving whip, but has a longer lash allowing for a snap if required, being shorter it is less unwieldy that a traditional driving whip. Hope this helps.

Just how long are the long lines? How long is the whip? Thanks Pat C.

Tough-1 Cotton Long Driving Lines
Tough-1 Cotton Long Driving Lines
BEST ANSWER: The product descriptions show that the whip comes in a 53" length, and that the lines measure 24' total length with the first 4' on each side rounded so they will work with an overcheck bridle and the last 4' with leather ends for better grip and control.
