The soft surface gives mom a comfortable surface to lie on while providing traction for puppies when moving about and squeezing their way in during feedings. This mat absorbs and contains messes and the waterproof backing prevents soak through, making cleaning between liner changes easier. And its machine washable so your pups always have a clean, sanitary area to explore during their first weeks. The Drymate Whelping Mat can be cut to fit your whelping box and is made from a non-woven fabric so it will never fray.
