My rescue pony has been hard to fit. I'm giving this a shot to at least get him started. I'm hoping it'll work out as a trail saddle, too.

How much does this saddle weigh?
A shopper on Mar 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This saddle weighs 22lbs.
How long is this saddle? Does this take a western cinch? How does the cinch attach? How are the stirrups attached? How long are the fenders from the center of the saddle? More pictures would be very helpful, along with dimensions and a better description.
Shabug on Aug 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This saddle is approx 1 inch longer than the seat size. It takes a western cinch, the cinch attaches like a western cinch would on any other western saddle and the stirrups are attached with our Tough-1 quick change buckles. The leathers are nylon with many holes for adjustment.
Will the stirrups adjust short enough for someone who is 5 foot tall?
A shopper on Mar 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I am 5'4 and can shorten them fo my liking. However the stirrup "leathers" are made of nylon webbing.... so if there isn't a hole to your liking it is easy enough to punch one through.
Is this saddle meant to be used with a pad?
A shopper on Mar 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I always suggest a pad under any saddle.
Does this saddle fit a big shoulder horse? What saddle pad are you using with it?
A shopper on Jan 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I use that saddle on both on no-withers MFT horse and big shoulder and high wither TWH. It contours to the shape of the horse. I suggest using non-slip pad, preferably cut out or gaited, so it doesn't push on withers. Also, because it slips a lot, use padded breast collar and cinch, and tighten it after few minutes of ride.
Suggest also using step stool as it slips when weight is put on the stirrup when mounting.
Will this saddle, along with the suggested pad, fit a draft horse with high withers and a sort of bony topline? He's 17 H, and probably 1600+ lbs.
Elizabeth B on Mar 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The saddle fits my 16H 1300# Quarter horse very well. It is flexible. I think it would work. I do use a breast collar with mine. I love the saddle. It is very comfortable. I bought it to use in the summer during hot weather because it is lightweight and the pad can be hosed off. But I like it so much that I use it 3 times a week for my arena work. I’ve never used it for a trail ride but feel it would be comfortable enough to use.
Does the treeless saddle come with cinch?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No it does not. I bought a smart conch and it works very well. I really like the saddle. I got the Christmas, haven’t taken any long trail rides in it yet, but just ridding in arena , very comfy.
western sizing or english sizing?
Kim B on Sep 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This saddle is western sizing. If your a 16 seat dont get the 16 it fits smaller so a 17 inch saddle for a 16 inch saddle. They are comfy. But do tend to slip a little.
is this treeless saddle narrower then a regular saddle ?
Phil W on Jan 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No. Treeless saddles (this one included) fit a wider variety of horses from narrow to wide. It will fit most horses comfortably. The saddle will definitely feel different underneath of you than other saddles though, no matter the fit of the horse. From the seat, it may feel like it does not fit the horse well because it is less stable than a saddle with a tree feels.
I weigh 140 lbs what size would I need ?
Darby a on Jun 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would choose the smaller one. I am 130 and I still have room. Saddle lays very flat and you will find it roomy for yourself.
If you are short like me, I suggest replacing fenders for the ones for youth (I got Abetta). They have more regulation. The original ones are cheap, two straps of fabric with no security for rubbing against horse. I didn't like it.
I suggest also padded cinch and collar as it slips a lot (my horse actually recovers from rub on girth, and I got nice and wide).
Which type of rear cimch would fit this saddle? As it slips a lot
Jen B on May 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There is nowhere for a rear cinch to attach to, but rear cinches do nothing for slipping anyway. Use this saddle with a padded breast collar and tighten the cinch again after riding for a few minutes, also consider searching for a non-slip pad to use under it if needed. The weight of a rider makes it settle into the horses back and loosens the cinch and I've found that it helps to tighten it again, I've even had the person I'm riding with get off and tighten it while I'm in the saddle.
What is the actual weight?
A shopper on Aug 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Item is approx. 22-25 lbs. The added weight is dimensional weight.
Seat size?
A shopper on Aug 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Item offers this seat in a 17 inch or 18 inch.
Would this fit a dainty poa?
