Product Summary:

Equicare® Flysect® Super-7™
Contains two repellents plus pyrethrins and permethrin. Combines oil of aloe with other emollients to moisturize the skin and produce a show condition coat. Contains two insecticide systems and two repellents for use on horses and dogs for immediate and residual control of face flies, stable flies, house flies, mosquitoes, gnats, mites, fleas, chiggers, and lice. Kills Lyme Disease-carrying ticks, including Ixodes dammini. Lasts 2-3 days. Oil-based.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals or animals on medication.
Not for use on horses intended for slaughter. Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application, to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, and as a preparation for show grooming, clean the coat with a quality shampoo. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying. Cover entire surface of animal with spray but avoid getting product into horse's eyes or other sensitive areas such as mouth or nose. Brush coat against grain while spraying to ensure adequate penetration of product. As a wipe, apply liberally with a clean cloth or sponge. Make sure spray has completely dried before covering with any tack. For initial treatment, apply daily for 2-3 days. As infestation subsides, repeat treatment every 5-10 days, or as prescribed by a veterinarian. Also reapply every time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Cover animal's eyes with hands. With a firm stroke to get a proper spray mist, spray head, ears and chest until damp. With fingertips, rub into face around mouth, nose and eyes. Then spray neck, middle and hind quarters, finishing legs last. For best penetration of spray to the skin, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair. On long-haired dogs, rub your hand against the lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand. Make sure spray thoroughly wets ticks. If necessary, reapply product at two to three week intervals. Also reapply after animal has been washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Wear goggles, face shield or safety glasses. Wear protective glove or mitt when applying this product. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Avoid breathing vapors. Do not smoke while using. Do not contaminate food-stuffs. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
Avoid contact with eyes, or mucous membranes. Avoid treatment of nursing puppies and foals under 12 weeks of age unless prescribed by a veterinarian. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

John B on Aug 15, 2018
I usually by the Flysect Super-C concentrations because it has the highest % of perm. and pyre. of any others. But I know it has to be diluted. Does that mean the % gets diluted also? If so, what does the % dilute to? I recently tried Equicare Flysect Super 7 spray, and it had about 1/2 the % of the Super C. But it seemed to perform better. Can you explain which would be the better? I don't care about convenience. Just performance and &. Thank you

BEST ANSWER: I only use the flysect super 7. I have tried others and none compare
