Bought this Belly Band after the recommendation from my vet. My horse suffered a side wound over the winter and has taken months to heal. It was suggested this belly band would help the remaining healing wound from rubbing too much under a western saddle pad. Will give it a try and report back!

Why buy this item when you could save $$ and save your horse pain buy simply taking off your spurs??
A shopper on Jul 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: My horse had a deep gash that has healed right along the (rider's) leg line and behind the girth. I use this band and a soft cloth underneath to protect the resulting scar.
How do you determine the correct size?
A shopper on Jan 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My horse was a couple of inches more than the largest band and I ordered that one. It works great, it stretches around him and the Velcro is heavy duty and sits perfectly through my ride. The spurmarks are gone and my white horse looks awesome. Good quality belly band and a lot easier to use than having the extra towel hanging on his sides.
