Orthopedic felt is constructed from millions of individual fibers of uniform strength and interlaced together with thousands of needle strokes, which creates excellent shock absorption. This cinch features 3" heavy duty webbing and 1/2" felt padding with nickel hardware.

Pretty good
This is a pretty good cinch for the money. It's fairly thick and doesn't seem to rub my sensitive mare like the neoprene ones do. I've had it for a few months with almost daily rides and it has held up very well.

Meh so so
It’s ok. Seems to make the saddle slip and changed form pretty noticeably after just one ride. I probably would not buy again and may need to switch back to neoprene to make my saddle fit more securely

Very well made and comfortable for my horse. I replace my cinch every year as it gets used almost daily.
For the money, these are awsome.
It looks great, and my horses seem to wear it well, with no discomfort regardless of time worn. Easy to clean, I have more than one, and will order more of the same as I need them. Great product.

It delivers
Pad performs as it should, doesn't rub and my horse seems to think it is comfortable from what I can tell. Having a rather large girth size the strap fits well and has worn good for 3 days a week riding. This time of year it does collect a bunch of hair but it is fairly easy to clean and the felt is staying together

It's been a year now...
This is handsdown the best money I spent on a cinch. It's been a whole year, and this 17 dollar synthetic cinch has made it. Just brush it off and bam! Brand new. My horse has outgrown it (SO FAT!) so I'll be ordering a new one! The best bang for your buck, you will be super satisfied.

Good for the price
The felt is not as good quality as the pro-choice felt cinch, but for the price it seems to be a good cinch. I've only had it for a month so I can't vouch for it's durability but so far I'm happy with it. No rubbing, very absorbent, just as felt should be.

I got this along with the matching breastcollar and they look great with my saddle. They fit perfectly on any lesson horse I ride.

Great product for fair price
I have been using fabtron girths for several years and I am very pleased with the performance / price ratio. Easy to clean, just hose down with water hose. Compfortable for the horse and very durable.

I manage a riding camp/stable and I find these cinches to be durable and comfortable for the large variety for horse breeds I have. Because I have to purchase in large quantities I find the price excellent as well as the serve from Stateline Tack. Thank you

Good cinch for the money
I bought this cinch a year ago, and it has held up fairly well. My only issue is that it has squished in on the sides a bit, but after being on the horse it straightens back out. It does hold water when we ride through rivers, but it dries out fast in the Arizona heat.

I am a very hard rider, and so not many cinches like this work for me, but I had a horse rub raw from another cinch I was using, so I bought this one and it worked. Does not last long, but great for horses that rub raw on their girth line.

Can't tell from the picture, does this have a place to tuck the cinch strap in?
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does.....I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who has an Arabian (smaller girth and shorter coupled horse), and all other girths seemed to slip for her. I have Large Tennessee Walkers, I an use State Line's Neoprene girths.

Yes it does. On the picture, it is near the buckle with the label. It is hard to see on the pic, but it is right in front of the small label on the left side.

How do I determine the correct size?

BEST ANSWER: Tie a piece of string to one rigging ring, loop it under the horse's girth, and bring it up to the other ring. Measure that length and subtract 16 inches (round up to the nearest cinch size). As your horse gains weight and muscle you may need to go up in cinch size using the method above for sizing.
