We live in Wyoming and the ticks have been horrible for several years. Our horses are older girls now and the reviews of this product makes me feel confident we can keep them tick free or at least a lot less bothered by the pesky things. If it works I'll be buying a lot more.

Barn mate recommended this product.
Ardis G on Jun 13, 2016
I ordered this because we live in CT- epicenter of Lyme disease. I've treated 2 horses with it so far and we live near the edge of woodland. My son used it on their horses and they had a serious tick problem. They said by using this, they went from finding hundreds of ticks on their horses to maybe 4 or 5. I have heard this product isn't quite as good at repelling flies, stable flies, horseflies, or deer flies but we'll see. If it just works on the ticks I'll be happy.
Deborah H on Jun 9, 2016
With the mild winter this year the tick population is exploding. I have been picking ticks off my horses daily - this helps quite a bit!
Karen D on May 28, 2016
I have used Equi Spot fly control every year and have not had any issues with ticks or flies for my horses. Great product.. it isn't going to work for everyone, can't satisfy everyone, you just have to use products until you find something that works... this works for me.

Theresa K on Jul 14, 2018
can this be used on Mini horses and ponies?
Lisa S on Jun 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This product has instructions for average size horses only. We would have to recommend you check with your veterinarian for animals so much smaller.
Does it stay on after hosing off/bathing the horse?
A shopper on Jul 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is put on like the spot on for dogs for ticks...it works for about 2 weeks at a time then you need to repeat the process. I would wait a day or so before bathing the horse.
