Product Summary:

Farnam™ Rain Maker™ Triple Action Hoof Moisturizer and Conditioner
Help For Your Horse’s Hooves

Dry weather, dusty stables, lack of exercise: these factors combine to rob a horse’s hooves of moisture, leaving them hard and brittle, susceptible to cracks, injury, and disease, and unable to regenerate quickly because of slowed growth.

Rain Maker™ can protect your horse’s hooves from these damaging conditions. Like a rainy day, Rain Maker™ leaves hooves with a healthy balance of moisture. It’s an advanced hoof dressing that helps restore and condition damaged hooves, so they can absorb the stresses and shocks of daily life with ease.

The Triple Action Formula leaves your horse with hooves that attract, absorb, and retain moisture. It helps prevent painful problems like cracks, splits, and contracted heels, enhances color, sheen, and texture, and leaves hooves with a natural glossy, lustrous appearance.

How to Use Rain Maker™:
Before applying Rain Maker™, be sure the sole and wall of the hoof are clean and dry. Pick out the soles and clefts of the frog to remove any foreign matter.

First, using the handy applicator brush provided, work Rain Maker™ into the frog, the sole and over the bulbs of the heel. Next, apply to the hoof wall to aid in restoration of the periople (protective coating of the horn), retard moisture loss and give the hoof a natural sheen. Using the applicator brush, also massage Rain Maker™ into the coronary band to approximately one inch above the hoof wall. Repeat treatment as needed. Most hooves respond favorably to an application once or twice a week.

recommended by my farrier. My paint has never worn shoes, and thanks to this product his feet stay in great condition, minimal chips in the dryest weather. Highly recommend

What color is it?
A shopper on May 18, 2015
Best Answer: It is a dark-colored oily substance (hardens into a gel in the winter time if left in a cold barn/car, more liquidy in the hot summer) goes on relatively transparent. In addition to routine hoof care, we use it at hunter shows on all of our thoroughbreds (dark feet/light feet) for a healthy show ring shine!

My mare has shoes on her front feet but not her back feet. Her back feet get all chipped and dried out. Will this help??
Nikki on Jul 28, 2016
Best Answer: Hi... it should but you need to do it 2-3 times a day..clean hoof...do underside of hoof first then exterior hoof all the way to coronet band right at hair line...

Keeping hoof trimmed will help, but tissue the season (summer) ??

Hope this helps
