My Dad used to use a product similar to this and it really stopped the bleeding if we needed to use it -- I'm putting it in my trailer -- just in case.

There's a reason this is an old time favorite. It works. When you are wanting a wound to get some air but have some protection, this is what I use. Highly recommend.

Have used this product for a number of years. Better than any salve because it is a powder and goes on dry. My go to for cuts and scrapes.

Can this product be used on a horse that's rug has rubbed it's wither? She has an opened wound that has a little puss.
Kelly H on Jun 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have not used it on a wound with puss. I would suggest cleaning the wound, getting the pus out of it and then costing with the dust. If wound continues to have pus for a day, then have the vet check it and probably get anti biotic.
can this be used on humans?
Linda P on Jul 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It states on the label: "not for human use".
