GREAT STUFF!!!
I use it on my boots and holsters. Keeps them supple and helps waterproof them. revives old leather. Doesn't make it new again, but helps.

I needed some oil ASAP and I love this brand for saddle cleaning, and I am excited to try this on my new bridle!!

Looking to restore the leather on my 20 year old saddle. The saddle was in protective storage, but it needs to be cleaned and oiled. My mom always said Mink Oil was the best and after reading the reviews, I decided to try it.

is this the type of mink oil used to repel mosquitos?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi! I don't know anything about using it to repel mosquitos. I have used it for years to treat all leather products to keep them soft and supple. It also waterproofs the leather. But it will discolor light leather, so only use it on dark leather. For mosquito (and all other insect) repellent, I use Pyranha spray in the can (oil-based) for my horses. It works great!
does this darken light leather?
A shopper on Oct 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If the leather would normally darken with oil, then yes. It darkened up a new saddle I bought very nicely. If the light leather has already been oiled, then it probably won't darken it much more, but lighter or "cheap" light leather seems to darken a bit with this oil. Part of the reason I like it ;-)
Is this oil Used on leather furniture?.
A shopper on Sep 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it can be used around vehicles and the home as well as for equine items. Please test an inconspicuous area first to check for any darkening of the leather.
I want to use your mink oil on the ventilated leather seats on my Porsche. Will it plug/collect in the tiny ventilation holes of the leather?
Bruce M on Jul 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have ventilated seats in my Maserati, it does not clog those. Use it sparingly, it can darken the leather. I also use it on the black leather in my Rolls Royce without issue. Hope this helps.
Can I use mink oil to condition/protect my car's convertible top?
A shopper on Jul 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have used mink oil in the liquid form for years to waterproof leather (halters, leads, saddles, boots, etc.) and keep it supple. It also keeps it from drying out and cracking. If your convertible top is leather, I think it would probably work well. But it will darken leather, and I'm also not sure it would work well on dyed leather, so I would try it on a patch that doesn't show first to make sure it won't spoil the looks.
