These are absolutely the best! A must have!

I like the simple design and ease of attaching a bucket to this bracket. I have another type that has a longer distance between the area where the bucket handle is held and it is so much harder to align the keeper into the holes/slots to keep the bucket in place. The lip is a tighter, more secure hold on the bucket lip, too.

Currently use this item. They do wear out in use.

Does anyone have a photo how this holds the bucket? Can these be attached to a living quarters horse trailer?
A shopper on Jan 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No photo needed. With the bracket facing up, screw with four screws on a solid wall. Once that is completed, with bucket flat side to the wall, pull pin up and slip the handle into the cavity and drop the pin. Pull the flat side of the bucket and place the bucket's rim into the lip at the bottom of the bracket. I would not advise to attach this bracket on your trailer unless a sold wall frame, wide enough to place rivets in that solid area. I would not advise metal screws as they would wear out and slip off. Rivets, if placed properly will provide a firm attachment to that wall frame. If not familiar with such task, I would advise a horse trailer shop.
how does bucket attach to the bracket?
Lori D on Dec 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There is a lip on the bottom of the bracket the bucket lip sets in. The metal handle of your bucket slide in the upper pin area of the bracket. You pull that small pin on top of the bracket and your bucket hand fits in it. It’s double redundancy to keep the bucket from falling off.
what are the dimensions of this product?
A shopper on Apr 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Product Length - 8 1/2"
Product Width - 3-1/3"
Do these have the "round" portion of the pin at the bottom? All of them I have found labeled "made in china" have the pointed end at the bottom of the pin and the round end at the top. I have had 2 horses rip their eye lids. When they were made correctly they were excellent!

BEST ANSWER: I have not had any trouble with these products, and use them for my water buckets and even wet hay cubes for my old guy (much easier than wrestling out of other holders) ... when the pin is in place (with a bucket) there is no way for the horse to get to the pin ... I would say that with much banging / use (the hay cube example) the metal does wear thin eventually at the bottom and I simply replace with a new one when I am worried - they are quite inexpensive and easy to switch out.
Good luck
