Bought a new rasp at TSC but the plastic handle came off first time I used it last week.. Was told by a friend that the hardwood handle will stay on better thus making the whole rasping job easier on my old hands.

does this item come on and off as you buy new rasps?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The handle appears to be a fine product but it is threaded and the rasp I purchased is the older style and does not have a threaded male end so I am unable to use the handle.
