They seem to be a good option for the price and they match the saddle we just purchased as well.

Pricing was good and I needed an additional pair to have on hand
Leslie M on May 11, 2018
I wanted to replace my cheap leathers that were too short, so I thought I'd buy these as they are the same brand as my saddle, they had really good reviews, and they came in a really good length for dressage.
Willow M. on Jan 25, 2018
Because of the low price, good reviews, and the brand name

I’m a petite 5’2 and was wondering if I should go with the 48 or the 54’s?
Jessica A on Mar 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would go with the 48s the leather is really streachy once it’s broken in if that makes sense so i think that would be the best option .
I seen an answer to a question that these will only fit English saddles. Will they fit my Aussie?
Cowboy on Jul 16, 2018
What is average size stirrup leather used by an adult?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I bought the 54" and it has 20 holes. I still end up riding in the 19th or 20th hole. You can add more. Inseam is 28"
Description says 54" is only available in Oakbark & Hazelnut, but the drop down box only offers black and oakbark! Is 54" Hazelnut available?
Rogue R on Aug 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you scroll down to "Product Summary," it states that the 1"x54" is only available in Oakbark and Hazelnut. I think the confusion comes from the Black being "temporarily oversold." At least, that's my interpretation. Good Luck!
are these made of real leather?
Naomi N on Aug 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes and ours have held up very nicely. Had them almost 3 years and very happy.
Are these leathers thick? I tried the HDR Triple Covered Close Contact Stirrup leathers and they were way too thick, causing a lump under my leg. thx
Kylie L on Jun 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These stirrup leathers are nylon reinforced for added durability. For a more subtle feel, you may be more interested in the HDR triple covered close contact stirrup leathers found in the link below:
Is this for a set of leathers or just one?
Stacy B on Jun 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They are a pair. I have never heard of leathers being sold individually...
Are the color options mixed up? I want to order the darker brown which I think is hazelnut but the comments make me think perhaps the darker is the oakbark. All I need to know is which color is the darker of the two browns?
A shopper on Dec 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Oak bark is darker, more a medium brown. Hazelnut is lighter- more an orange tint. HDR does make a Havana color too, which is darker than oak, but not sure it is offered here.
Just to make sure, is hazelnut the lightest color leather? That's what I need to match my saddle. Also wondering if there is a light colored half-hole stirrup leather out there. Thanks.
Bonzai on Nov 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, hazelnut is the lightest color by Henri de Rivel. We do carry other half hole stirrup leathers, but they are all darker:
Ovation Half Hole Leathers Australian Nut
Ovation Half Hole Leathers Australian Nut
Ovation Eng Leather Half Hole Black Leathers
Ovation Eng Leather Half Hole Black Leathers
Collegiate 1in Hole Stirrup Leathers

Do these leathers match the HDR advantage close contact grippy saddle (with flocked pannels)? I am planning on buying that saddle and I'm hoping for these to match.
A shopper on Sep 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Dear Shopper,
Congrats on your new saddle!! The answer is - it depends. Leather (as it ages and wears) changes color and probably won't be an exact match, but never fear, the new leathers will also age and wear and blend right in. The stirrup leathers are typically "hidden" by your leg anyway. So click away and enjoy your ride!
Do these leathers scratch the saddle?
Patricia on Sep 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Basically 'no'. Like all stirrup leathers, they rub on the saddle a bit, but nothing that couldn't be polished out with saddle soap.
hi there i am 5'8 what is the best length for my height?
A shopper on Aug 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I am 5'10 and ordered size 54. I use them not only for myself, but for students ranging in height from 5'4 to 6'2, and the leathers easily cover that whole range. Even though women usually have longer legs, size 54 should be perfect for you. Size 60 I would recommend only for giants! Good luck. Edwin M.
Can they fit to a western saddle ? My leg leathers on the left are paper thin from cutting barrels. It's right at the hole fitting latch.
Donna L on Mar 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately these leathers are for an English saddle only.
Are these nylon reinforced on the back or in the middle of the leather?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If I understand your question correctly, they are reinforced in the middle. There is not any nylon visible on these. I have these, but I didn't even know there was nylon in them. I've been using mine regularly for about 2 years now and they are still in good condition, and it matches the saddle nicely.
Do these leathers in oakbark match the HDR Advantage Close Contact saddle exactly?
Sarah on Jul 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Wish I could help, but I bought these in hazelnut to match my older Stubben saddle. However, I really like the leathers and would buy again if I needed to.
