Product Summary:

Hoof Wraps Brand Soaker Sack

Equine hoof soaking treatments are an ideal way to treat abscess, thrush, yeast and fungus infections, puncture wounds, foot bruising, laminitis and white line disease. Hoof Wraps took the concept horse vets have been using for years – using empty IV bags as a makeshift solution for soaking hooves – and improved on it with the Hoof Wraps Brand Soaker Sack. Made with a heavy 12 mil thick soft vinyl material, this everyday hoof care solution include EZ straps and one general-purpose EVA foam pad. The EZ straps make for easy application, with an industrial-grade hook on one side and loop on the other.

Features:

  • Each kit contains two Soaker Sacks, two EZ straps, and one EVA foam pad
  • Fit most hoof sizes
  • Can be used for soaking or icing treatments
  • Use as a standalone soaking solution or as a protective liner
  • Ideal treatment for abscess, thrush, yeast and fungus infections, puncture wounds, foot bruising, laminitis, and white line disease

Are these as thick as IV bags? When using White Lightening and vinegar it creates a gas and bags will not hold up with a 1100 lb horse standing in it and the gas effect causes bag to burst, so will these withstand all of that?

BEST ANSWER: Item is thicker than UV bags, and they recommend using SteriHoof Hoof Treatment Spray, which is made by the same manufacturer.
