Looks like good idea for ones that don't like hoof soaked

I've tried a lot of soaking boots, and this one stays on and stays filled, and allows the horse to walk around in the stall, without my having to hold it or tie the horse.

I have a pair of these, I bought another pair so I can do white lightning on all four feet at once. These boots are great, so easy to use!

Is it waterproof?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the boots hold water. I live in SE Arizona. Horses hooves are very dry. I use the boots to soak their hooves in just plain water for 10 minutes once a week and it helps keep their hooves healthy. My farrier is impressed with the condition of their hooves.I have used the boots for 8+ weeks and the velcro ties no longer work. I simply tie them instead of sticking the ends together.
Can these fit on a donkey?

BEST ANSWER: Get the smallest ones. We do wrap really tight. Haven’t had any problems with the horse getting it off.
Can you use this soaker boot on a horse with shoes?
Glenna W on Oct 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would think you could we bought two of them and they are pretty sturdy. Used them on a mule that had abscess in both front feet but she was barefoot. They come with an extra pad to put in the bottom of the soaker bag to help protect it.
Mainly to the person who said it was great and helpful-why only 1/5 stars? This is the exact type of product I could use for my horse, to soak both his hoof and lower leg!

BEST ANSWER: I have had the boot since they came out with them, maybe 10 years ago and have used it 2 times. The boot works great if the horse will put his hoof flat to the ground. This time my horse found a nail somewhere and was walking on his toe. I got the nail out. Doctored him and the hole,
but for a week he would not put his foot flat. The boot completely tore up. I am now looking for another boot that will be sturdy enough to accommodate the injury when they walk on their toe. He completely heeled, but the boot did not.
