This salt block holder seems to give more access to the block than others.
Peggy H on Jan 29, 2019
We already have the horseshoe salt block holders in our barn recently two broke so these are replacements
Barbara R on Jan 14, 2019
Looking for something that won't corrode.
SHERRY W on Oct 25, 2018
Tired of replacing rusty, plastic coated metal salt block holders that also don't stand up to 2000 pound draft horse butt scratching.
David C on Oct 15, 2018
Had this holder for many years, very durable. Finally broke when my horse decided to use it to scratch

I called and discuss the item with a salles rep from state line who was helpful in answering my questions

we needed something to keep the horses from knocking their salt blocks onto the ground and wasting them.

Very efficient and great price. Works well with foals.
Virginia H on Jan 3, 2017
This is super cute and it is pretty handy to have individual salt licks in the horse's stalls.
Connie V on Oct 22, 2016
durable
Rocco M on Aug 26, 2016
Loved the look but our three didn't hold up to horses rubbing on them.
Penn H on May 3, 2016
the other ones I've bought have been "chewed" off by my horses; hoping this will stay in the stall!
Debbi Lynn P on Oct 2, 2015
This is the only type of salt block holder that holds up for me. All the other ones I have tried break due to corrosion.
Susan G on Aug 14, 2015

Katherine W on Aug 11, 2015

Gina V on Mar 22, 2015

Ann M on Oct 24, 2014
We just moved and had these in our old barn. I love the way they looked, and they were very durable.
Mary V on Jun 27, 2014
Great design, holding up well.
Janet Smith J on May 9, 2014
Sturdy item. "Mr. Distructo", the salt monger, hasn't even destroyed them yet.
Jennifer W on Apr 23, 2014
to hang salt block. It last longer than the wire one.
Rosemary L on Apr 4, 2014
needed a block holder, rather than having the block lie on the ground

Does this hold the Himalayan salt blocks, which can be thicker?
Topaz on Feb 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: YES it does! I was surprised when I bought this and the Himalayan salt blocks. I have a miniature Dun Buckskin Mare who's 29 1/2" tall. I turn the salt blocks over and then reverse how they sit in the holder. These are cute, very handy and are quite durable! I highly recommend this product.
Was this supposed to come with screws? There's holes but screws weren't includes. How do you hang it?
Lilpony77 on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Do not buy this type of brick holder (Not a block hold). For small equine...maybe ok ....not for Quarter Horses, Paints and Warm Bloods. This model, with the four bolts, fall apart very easy. If you want mine, give me your address and I'll ship them free since they are worthless to me. I have purchase the brick pocket holders. They the are angled to hold the brick down to the last lick. Nice, since I change as needed from salt to mineral bricks very easy for my thirteen horses. Easy to clean the slobbers and residuals with a small putty knife. Hope this will encourage you to avoid products that are limited in use and not durable. Bye-the-way.....no screws with the units.
