I have a quarter horse that is mutton withered, very wide and a large hind end. I have a great Tucker saddle and am looking for a great saddle pad. Do you think this would be a good choice? Thanks so much!

BEST ANSWER: No it will not work for a mutton withered horse. It has to much build up in the front. I was disappointed in the construction of this pad. But it will work to build up behind the withers if there is a steep drop behind the withers. They will not take returns if used even once
Is this a suitable pad for beneath a treeless saddle? I feel like I need to create more "gusset space". I have a Circle Y Julie Goodnight treeless...
Jasmine G on May 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I think that might help you with a treeless saddle. But I am not a fan of treeless saddles at all. I have had them and they do not work for anything other than trail riding
Can the felt or gel be removed/added. In other words, is it adjustable?
K L on Jun 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, this gel is properly positioned in the pad and can not be removed.
