Love our Kensington Natural fly boots!
I have had a few pairs of the older style with the fleece for many many years- always worked great and was time to get some new ones finally! I'm really impressed with this style and the improvements, definitely no slip, and they look sharp!

Love them!
I was hesitate to get them because I wasn't sure if they would stay in place. But, they do and they are durable and will fit any size leg. My horse does not mind them at all and he tends to bite at things if they are annoying. Totally worth $20.00!

I love these fly boots, they do not rub my TB's legs (he is 17.1hh and has large legs) and they fit on all 4 legs.

My standard donkey seems to like them!
I've only used them for a few weeks (I do remove them each night), but ,so far, I'm impressed at how durable they seem to be, and how well they stay on.

Take that you pesky flies!!!
I have used these fly boots for a long time. They are sturdy and the mesh allows the air to still flow. I live in a very hot climate so that is important. I still need to spray the horses for flies but these boots are wonderful. I also like the price. I haven't found any that work like this for this price. Thank you State Line Tack!

first time purchase of boots.
purchased to help my horse with the stomping due to biting flies. comparing this with others products to see how well they stay on, based on past reviews. I got them and had to return them soon after. since there are only two, I tried them on my horses front and hind legs. when my horse started walking the boot on hind leg started to slide and he was stepping on it. the boot on the front leg, was too close to the ground and appeared tight on upper portion of his leg. quality looked good, straps looked well made.

Love these Fly boots
Do NOT come off. Heavy duty so little damage when she would scratch at them. She has feather so did get wrapped up in the velcro but came off good.... with no hurting to her. Quality is great. some unraveling but not much. She loves her fly sheet and boots. Wont let me take them off. She is a gypsy cob. 4 yrs old.
All clean after a bath.
Yuk I gotta put on clothes again!!
My gorgeous girl the day I got her. I didnt take photos of her in her boots.

Well made leggings
Worth the extra dolllars as these do not seem to have a weak spot in them anywhere in terms of wear and my horse has been wearing them 24/7 for several weeks now.

My horse is plagued with flies since he's pastured by cows, and his hooves are suffering. I saw that these had great reviews, and I've had good luck with Kensington fly masks before, so I'm hoping that these will help get the flies off his legs.
Katrina G on May 30, 2017
great fit for my tall thin legged donkey. Good coverage and easy to put on, did not slide down and did not rub her legs anywhere! I bought a second pair!

They work, save my horses stomping, stay up, and on for more than 1 day. Easy on and off.

My 28 year old horse struggles with fly bites and learned he is also allergic to tick bites. I clip his socks w/#40's but also find these help keep the critters from crawling up the legs. He also wears a full fly sheet w/belly band and neck cover along w/fly mask. Just trying to keep my old guy as comfortable as possible.
Kerri V on Jun 14, 2016
Protection for my horse's legs. I'm tired of the fly bites and I'm sure he is too. Good price and I buy with confidence from State Line that even economy brands work as promised.

My 30 year old quarterhorse would itch his legs until they bled unless he wore these
karen a on Oct 5, 2015
These have worked great. They have been on my horse since the middle of June. They are soft enough so they don't rub, yet have maintained their shape an do not sag. Planning on being able to use them next fly season too.
Victoria C on Sep 26, 2015
Liked the way they fit and are easy to clean and take off. I Liked the way they cover the horse's hoof and up the leg to the joint.
Helen M on Sep 5, 2015
The flies are driving my horse crazy. He has thin skin and bleeds from the bites. I have tried all kinds of sprays with no luck. Hope these make him more comfortable.
Karen B on Jul 29, 2015
These are wonderful for hind leg fly wraps. They stay up and last.

No winter out here in California. Only crop this year will be huge fly populations that are already trying to chew off my horse's legs.

Like the overall length of these compared to the others on the market. Seem light weight and more breathable to keep the legs cool. Will post a review once I have a chance to use them. Price point seems good as well.

Will they fit thoroughbreeds slim legs?
A shopper on Apr 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have used the Kensigton's on all of my Thoroughbreds. There is no fit that is perfect no matter what the brand is. The Kensigton's are well made with a quality mesh and velcro closure.

The slippage is just a given if they are in a pasture and must be reset or checked at least every other day. In a stall they might stand up better with out all of the walking.

Good luck, I hope this review has helped.

If you want these for all 4 legs do you need to buy 2 sets?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. These fly boots are great. Easy to put on and they stay up. I have been getting 2 seasons out of them.
How many boots are included: 2 or 4?
A shopper on Jun 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 2 Fly boots were included. They worked very well. And are built well. I have been happy with them and so has my gelding!
Is this item two or four in a set?
Kathy H on Jul 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There are two in a set, they are great. Very durable and they don't collapse and slide down their legs like other fly boots. I have found they last longer than other boots as well.
Do these for miniature donkeys ?
Barbara W on Jun 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't really know. I bought them for a regular size horse. They stayed on well but started to droop a bit after a while. Still they solved the fly biting problem.
Do they have stays in them?
A shopper on Jul 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I love these. Stay on!!! They are very well made. Heavy hard to damage. Her leg feather did get caught in the velcro but still got them off of her with no hurting. She loves her fly blanket and boots. I have to catch and tie her to get them off!!! Flys bad her in SD.
protect from sun? I have a horse with photosensitivity and need to protect her white legs from burning.
sadiehorse on Aug 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Awe, poor thing. I would say yes for sure it would protect. I’ve used them and the sheet. Good Luck with your sweet horse.
