Will this fit a pony? (14.1 hands)
Ariana J on Mar 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: That is a close call. My mare is 15.1 and I had to punch a bunch of holes in it to make it fit. It might be a worth a try to order it and see what it measures on your pony as long as you are OK with returning it if it does not fit.
Do I need to purchase anything else with this?
A shopper on Aug 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, the chambon is complete in itself. It attaches to the girth as any martingale would, and then goes over the crown (this part is included in the chambon itself) and then attaches to the bit. It has been a very effective tool for my horse as it only works when the horse puts his head up high, but does not pull the head down and in, allowing him to come through the back.
