This bridle in quarter horse size fits my girl's in-between size head perfect. Kincade and one other brand make a QH size, and this one is much more budget friendly. My last held up 3 years before I dropped my reins while leading and my mare stepped on them and snapped the headstall. I have now purchased 3, that's how strongly I recommend.

This is a great, low cost schooling bridle! You just need to oil it and off it goes with the kiddos!

Need a schooling bridle for a young mare. Do not want to spend much money this bridle, we are just starting training.
LORI C on Jul 15, 2015
This matches my hunter saddle perfectly! I have had it for four years and it has held up well! Great for schooling and even showing though I only use it as a schooling bridle. Great quality for the price!

Deborah P on Jun 17, 2015
"I purchased this Bridle for my lesson program. I needed a martingale that would get the job done without being too costly. The leather has held up well. It is of decent quality. Certainly not something that I would take to a show. But for the purpose in which it was purchased it does very well

I have a 14.3 hh foundation QH which size would fit her? Even though it has quarter horse sized she has a larger head for a QH
Skylar on Apr 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I bought it for my 14.2 hand QH(has some foundation lines) and there was room to adjust it out more.
does it come with the bit?
A shopper on Sep 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, it does not come with a bit but it is a very nice bridle for the price. I've had it for a while and it still looks like new.
How wide across is the browband?
Karen M on Apr 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 7/8” Browband and Caveson
I ride a few horses 16hh and up with rather large heads. Would the full size fit? One is a paint, one a draft cross and one is a tb
Dylan P on Jul 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hard to tell. You should really measure the respective faces. It happened to fit my paint tight on the brow, looser on the nose band and for me, the length of raign was too too short. Gifted it to a friend. You get what you pay for.
What size should I get for a 13.2 hand pony?
Marisa s on Apr 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I purchased the cob size for our 15h QH mare. It fits her nicely right in the middle of all the settings. I would say it would depend if the pony has a large head or not. If yes, then the cob can be on the tightest setting. If an average pony head, then I would suggest pony size.
What size should I buy for a 17 hand gelding ?
A shopper on Mar 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The horse size fit our 16.3 hand OTTB mare, but she has a fairly refined head. She wears a regular horse size halter. The buckles on the cheekpieces and cavesson are almost taken in all of the way. She is fairly broad through the throat, but the throatlatch fits. With winter hair, it is a little snug at the browband. I hope that this helps!
What size length are the reins for the warmblood size?
Anna J on Sep 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 54” L x 5/8” W reins
What size should I buy for a 15 hand arab. A cob size or something different?
Rachael C on Jun 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You would probably need the cob size, which is for a horse approximately 500-800 lbs.
how many inches is the cob bridle down the cheek and noseband?
Elesha M on Jan 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Length of the nose band is 11" and Length of the cheek pieces is 8.5"shortest, 10" longest.
Is this bridle actually the color pictured, or is it the dark chocolate color?
Moriah M on Feb 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I bought one of these bridles 2 yrs ago and it is the same color as the one in the photo. I have a gray horse just like the photo and it looks great on her. I use it only for showing. I got so many compliments on it I ordered another one for her to wear for schooling everyday. The 2nd one came and it was not the same color. It was more chocolate colored. It is still very pretty, but it doesnt look as good on my gray horse as the reddish one does. Both bridles are good quality for the price and I am happy with them.
