Great price, quality leather, flatter seat for flexible movement and light weight!

Wanted a new trail saddle but didn't want to break the bank. Looks like Clinton Anderson signature saddle.

I was looking for a affordable comparable saddle to the Martin Saddlery Clinton Anderson Saddle. This seemed to be the closest to it I could find. Looking forward to trying it out.

Is the rigging dee a single dee ring or double?
nick n on Dec 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Double, but I use it single. I love this saddle. Tried the well known trainers model, It was to heavy. It fits my warmblood, he is a hard fit, allowing his shoulder to be able to move freely. I have 5 saddles all costing much more, I cannot believe the Brisbane is as well made, with features do not have on saddles costing a lot more. Favorite is very easy stirrup length adjustment. No old style bucklesthe struggle with.
Does this saddle fit true to size? If you typically ride in a 16" Western I've heard you should go to a 15" in this saddle because of the Australian cross with Western fit. Thank you!
Chelsea H on Jul 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Actually, I usually ride with a 16 inch. I bought this as a 15 inch and it was perfect. Typically, Aussie saddles, including Clinton's saddles made by Martin, are one size larger, so purchase one inch smaller than you normally would. I really like this saddle. I have bad knees and was using EZ Knees with my Circle Y, but I don't need them with this saddle. It fits every Quarter Horse and a few TB/QH crosses that I have put it on. It's very comfortable and yes, it's made to emulate Clinton's Aussie saddle so it has the "Roo" conchos.
Is this saddle real leather?
A shopper on Nov 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It says suede seat & neoprene skirt? I can’t remember. Just know it was huge. Too big for me & my horse. Had to pay my own money to ship the thing back.
Does this come in a 14" seat?
Becky H on Jun 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe they do, but I usually ride a 14 inch, and believe they run a little small, I like a secure feel, this is as good as my 14 inch barrel saddle, but is so much more comfortable for trails. Love the Tough-1 quick change buckles. No more pinched fingers.
does it come in rough out too ?
A shopper on Oct 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have attached a image for that saddle.

Where is the saddle made? America? or India? I am concerned as I recently researched this more and there have been some incidents with saddles not made in America (breaking trees, leather, etc). I thought this would be a good light saddle but really need to know where it's made and what kind of tree it has? thank you!
Coleen on Aug 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This saddle has a rawhide wrapped fiber glass tree and is made overseas. Keep in mind that nearly all mass produced saddles have some portion is made overseas, be it the complete assembly, the tree, or the leather. This includes many big name saddles. The only way to guarantee a 100% American made saddle is to purchase directly from a local custom saddle builder. While that can be expensive, we certainly understand the need for quality craftsmanship. That is why we work closely with our saddle makers to ensure a quality product at a reasonable price. We honor our dealers return/defective policies and offer a 5 year guarantee on our trees.
How much does it weigh?
Heather S on Feb 13, 2017

Is the seat smooth or is it suede?
A shopper on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Padded suede seat.
I just bought this saddle literally 2 minutes ago from this site, and paid $412, now when I go back to look at it, it is $384. Why did the price go down so much as soon as I finalized my order?! Can I get some of my money back since the price just changed?!

I usually ride an australian saddle. Does this stirrup and fender have forward movement as an aussie ?More of aussie than straight down for western fender ?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The stirrups/fenders on this saddle will not have the same forward movement like an Australian saddle. The stirrups/fenders will be like those of a western saddle.
