I think they are a great bag for the price. I use them on all my rodeo horses to help keep their tails clean and long.

These bags are a little bit wider than others and made of heavier material so they are easier for long, thick tails to fit in and they last longer than many other bags I have used.

Purchased an all-in-one tail bag from Tough1 that covers the top of the tail and they had it off in under an hour. Hopefully these stay in better.

a friend recommended these tail bags to help keep my horse's tail clean, and allow it time to grow and thicken without my horse breaking it off swatting at flies. she uses them with her horse and her horse's tail is long and thick, and beautiful.

These are the best tail bags I have ever used! My mare is a grey with a white tail and I have to bag her tail during the wet, wintery months in Oregon. These bags are light weight and do not pull off of her tail when she rolls in the mud. They also keep her tail dry during downpours.

Three horses and we constantly need tail bags.
Carolyn F on Jul 27, 2014
I love my water proof tail bags especially in the rainy weather we experience, perfect for keeping his tail dry and clean. especially handy when he decides to pee, it does not go splattering all over his tail.

They work great! Very TUFF! I have used the same ones every single day on all 3 horses for a whole year and they just now started to wear out so I ordered some more. What a great product! I have all of my horses tails touching the ground I have had to cut them because they where too long thanks to these tail bags I can keep those long tails nice and clean! :) :)

how does this tail bag fasten?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2013
BEST ANSWER: You brqid your horses tail then put the tail in the bag halfway up the tail bone and put the velcro strip through a braid and velcro it to the bag. very easy and they almost never come out!
Do I have to braid this bag into my horse's tail?
Caroline C on Mar 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Mustang Nylon Tail Bag is perfect for my gray Arabian mare who loves to roll in the mud and stand in the rain. I braid my horse's tail, which is very long, white and silky, then place it inside the bag. This tail bag stays put with the Velcro tab that is easily looped through her braided tail. The tail bag is light-weight, so when she rolls in the mud, it doesn't pull off or get heavy. It keeps her white tail clean and she has worn it all winter.
How do you attach this to the tail?
A shopper on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You braid the tail then put the braid in the bag, pull the velcro tab thru the braid right up by the tail bone. This is my favorite tail bag.
do these have snaps or velcro?
Cheryl R on Apr 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I think it was velcro
How long are the ties?
A shopper on Feb 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: PLenty long. I would measure them but they are out in the barn.
