Great Rope
I love this rope! It is very great quality for the price I paid. A little stiff at first, but once it's worn in...Just a great rope. Plan on keeping it until it stops working, I think that's going to be a while!

Great rope
This rope has everything I was looking for at a great price. Quality is good and it works great for lunging my mini. No heavy snap to swing and hit her chin. Would definitely repurchase perhaps for my larger horses as well

This10 1/2 ft ropes weight and diameter is perfect in combination with a soft rope halter for ground work and riding. For reins I just run the popper end thru the loop hanger on the rope halter above where the lead is attached then tie a one loop knot and it's very simple to undo quickly if you have to when your horse goes Ape. I have used all different lengths and diameters of rope and mecates and when I ride I use this one because I don't care to have the other 1.5 ft of rope dangling uselessly as with a 12 ft rope, or the extra 12 ft of rope to tuck in my belt with a 22 ft. mecate. Those other ropes have their place in training. but the 10/1/2 ft is best for me riding. I just bought 2 more in case they stop selling them so I'll have a 10 year supply!!!

Great Product!
Bought this rope as I have an up and coming training business. I wanted something that had a professional look and feel, and this is it! Perfect length for working on disengaging hindquarters and such. The noose is flexible enough to easily loop over a snap. Only con is that you need to wear gloves, because you will get ropeburn if not!

Professional quality, hobbyist price!
Got two - they are identical (consistent) and have great training "feel". Can attach a clasp to the loop end or not - easy to do. Length is great for various training exercises while leading out.

Compare to high-priced clinician leads
Nice solid lead, very similar to the thicker clinician leads at less than half the price. I do wish it came without the loop braided into the halter end, it's a little stiffer than I would like there, but really not a big deal. These are much better than the cheap, lightweight poly rope leads that most rope halters tend to come with.

I love this lead rope! It's just the right length and the poppers at the end are so nice!

These work great with my hand tied rope halters and they are affordable

Needed a lead for my rope halter/caveson.
Megan D on Aug 3, 2016
The lead is strong and has no snaps to break. Once I got the first two I ordered, I bought two more for the barn. These are very well made leads, that will be hard for a horse who pulls back to break.
Melinda P on Aug 5, 2015
I don't use leads with clasps, they not only break but your horse can get injured pretty badly by them. The icing on the cake was the price on these great leads!

Nice feel, good weight, not too long

Looks like great quality. Good reviews.

I intend on using the leather end to loop through the bottom loop of a rope halter as a lead with no clip. Giving it a try. Liked the other reviewer's comments. If it doesn't work, I'll use it as a dog leash. Won't ever use the poppers though, not on dog nor horse.

Love these lead ropes and even though you have to add the snap it is a good price

Can you attach this to a rope halter?
A shopper on Sep 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, just thread the end of the lead through the halter "eye" shank then put the lead end through the lead "eye" and pull until snug. This with the ropes halter makes a no-hardware "unbreakable " combo for tying. If you want a removable lead, you can buy a almost any kind of snap end from most feedstores or online tack stores and thread it on the same way.
Does this lead rope come in different colors?
A shopper on Sep 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I saw them in black only, I'd call to confirm with their help number, Rick I like them, for the price their great,
