I have been told and all my research states Myler to be one of the best bits on the market. They are definitely pricey. Without being able to see or hold the bit, I am rolling the dice my horse will like the bit. I believe he will. The Myler brothers put in the work to make their bits comfortable for the horse. Happy horse, happy rider.

I'm hoping it will help my off track thoroughbred, who has a very sensitive mouth, relax in the bridle and stretch into contact better. I like the idea that the port allows for swallowing, which is very important!

My horse is doing both endurance trail conditioning and elementary dressage and she is very responsive in this bit in both disciplines.

What is the difference between with hooks vs without?
A shopper on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: hooks are slots on the rings of the bit for the bridle and reins to hook through allowing less movement of the bit
