I'm old school and I know what Fura-zone can do - it is good for any cut, scrape or abrasion as well as to reduce swelling in joints.
Melanie P on May 10, 2016
I use it regularly and it heals wounds great
Linda T on Jan 4, 2016
Can't beat this for sweating! A must-have in the trunk.
Alexandra J on Nov 7, 2015
I use this mainly for treatment of equine scratches found below the knee joint & common in the long and short pastern areas. Using a thin disposable glove when applying FURA-ZONE is what I would recommend. This ointment helps to soften the scratches tissue which I like to apply a day prior to physically removing the scratches. I generally apply once every other day for up to 14 days then recheck the area throughout the year to ensure that scratches has not emerged again.

can this be used on dogs ?
A shopper on Jul 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We usually use this on our horses and have really only had one occasion to use it on our dog. She had a nasty gash so we put some Furazone on it and took her to the vet in the morning.
Does this work on tail mite?

Would this work on scratches on a horse?
Ginger L on Apr 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would use EQyss Micro Tek. It's a spray on. There is also a shampoo that goes with it. Easy to use. No wrapping, etc....although it helps to keep affected areas as dry and clean as possible. Clip as much hair as you can off the areas. Short....with clippers. Shampoo and debris the area. Pick ad much of the scabbing off as your horse will let you. Clip again if you can. Spray with EQyss Micro Tek spray per directions. Be faithful and patient. I have had some luck feeding MSM in conjunction with the spray and shampoo. Clean up the debris and scabbing you pull of and throw it into the trash if possible, as it can be a bit contagious from horse to horse. Clip early and keep em short prior to rainy seasons. Hope tjis helps.
