Highly recommend
Even if you only lunge occasionally, this is worth it. SO much easier than constantly running the line through the bridle and having to stop and switch it etc. My horse is happier and so am I. Absolutely a must for anyone doing a lot of leadline lessons or lunging. Great price and seems like it will hold up well, nice big clips are easy to use and seem quite durable

This works well but.....
Well constructed BUT too heavy and a bit too long. Could have been made with lighter buckles/clips. A bit clunky to have around a horses mouth area while lunging as you dont want anything to smack them and raise their head...which is counter productive to lunging them in the first place.

Love this
I do not like to lung but I do like to make sure the horse is in the right frame of mind before my daughter gets on. This makes changing directions very simple. Great tool. Great idea.

Smart Attachment
Smart addition to my lunging equipment. Makes it easy to change direction and doesn't add much weight. Very easy to clip on and off.

Swivel Lunging Chin Strap
my only complaint is that the chin strap can't be adjusted. It's a bit to big and gets hung up in my horse's mouth.

Great product
This is just what I needed to attach to my bitless bridle for tying and leading out on the trails. Small enough to put on my saddle pack. Now don't have to bring a halter.

Seemed like a good tool - I was previously using a stud chain for the same purpose, but I think this will be milder for my well behaved horse :)

The double snap swivel lunging chin strap is an excellent way to keep unnecessary pressure off of my horse's mouth when longeing her with a bit and bridle. It also makes direction changes easier for both of us!

I have a horse that is used on stage for a Christmas show. He has a beautiful saddle & bridle (brought from Stateline) but we lit the reins over the saddle so they can be seen. I an going to attach the chin strap so a lead can be attached.

I liked this. Seems like it would make lunging easier. No need to re-snap while working when you move the horse from the left or right. No twisted halters!

Rather than buy a whole lunging caveson, I purchased this to make it easier to control the horses when lunging. I found it works better under the chin, does help to keep their nose in towards the center (as compared to the halter alone) and makes lunging a breeze.

Is the hardware piece where you snap the lunge line to stitched in place or is it "floating"?
A shopper on Sep 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the chin ring where you snap the lunge line swivels so this strap can be used from either side without twisting the line.
how wide is the nylon strap?
olivia f on Apr 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This item is 1" wide and 11" long.
how to use the lunge strap with a halter?
A shopper on Apr 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is really more suited for use with a bit. You wouldn't need to use it with a halter because it has a ring under the chin already and you would attach your lunge line there. It would not work if you were trying to lunge from the noseband.
how wide is the nylon strap?
olivia f on Apr 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The nylon is 1" wide. I'm not sure on the length, but there is plenty of room for my TB (horse size head) and it does not get in the way of any tack
