Oster ECS 7 Piece Grooming Kit

It was exactly what we were looking for at a great price. We did buy a sturdier steel hoof pick to add to the kit.

Haven't used the set as of yet. We purchased this to use for shows. But the case and feel of the brushes have met my expectations.

This grooming kit is a good value for the money but I do wish the hoof pick was more substantial. I am glad I spend an extra couple of dollars to buy a different hoof pick. I feel that the brushes are great and seem like they will last. I may not keep the bag though because it would be easier to be able to hang it on something and not have to worry about anything falling out.

Great brushes...nice carry case...i wish they made the soft brush a bit longer on the bristles...and the hoof pick is junk...picked up a pick with brush that works a lot better. I love this companies quality though...and all together this kit is a nice one to have. They could get rid of one of the mane/tail brushes and throw in a diff style curry too the one that's included is awesome on mud but my guy hates it and likes a diff style that Oster makes.

Bought this for my horses, not happy with how it turned out. The hoof pick is made of cheap, and bendable metal, it literally gets nothing out besides bits of dirt. The brushes hold up well, but they hold in the dirt, and the hairs fall out. Was looking for a soft brush to come with this package, but all brushes are bristly and do NOT get anything out of my horses coat, not dust nor mud or dirt. The mane and tail brush is the only great thing about this package, and the comb just yanks and tugs on the mane, pulling tons of hair out and making snarls, which does not help! Over all I would warn not to get this package, it is not a good deal for the price, would not want anyone to get as bad as a deal as I have, the price is too high for the bad value of the package itself. Great for trailer and everyday use. Was given this set for christmas.

I got this as part of my daughters birthday gift and she loves it!

All the brushs are ok but the hood pick is flimsy and bends easy. Also the round curry is a bit hard and I can't press hard enough for it to get dirt up before it hurts my horse she will start flinching.

Now. We have a granddaughter and wanted her to have her own grooming kit. This is for her upcoming birthday but I know we will be pleased with it. A plus for it being "pink".

This set is not only soft on your hands with the high quality rubber handles but your horse will appreciate the curry and soft brush very much! I was more than satisfied with this set. Highly recommend it!

I got this kit for my birthday and I love it. the brushes fit really well in the hand and do the job excellent I am so happy with my purchase

I got this in the pink and I love it the oy thing is that the round brushes and a little bit harder to use but as far as that I love it

I got the blue kit and it is more than I hoped for. Everything is very light weight and durable. They are very well made. Everything fits perfectly in your hand, and the handles are very comfortable. My horses love them. My only issue is the bag. It's not very practical for barn use, but it would be good for travel. I have a tote for that anyway. I bought this for the brushes, not the bag. And the pink is a different product. They have some different items and the bags are not at all the same. I recommend Oster to everyone. You definitely get what you pay for. I also got the fine curry comb and it is great for sensitive areas.

BACKPACK STYLE ONLY COMES IN BLUE the MESSENGER BAG IS PINK.Heads up even though this product lists two different colors it is actually two different styles. When I ordered this item It showed the backpack style with two options blue or pink. I chose pink. For some reason the picture didn't change to the messenger style product to indicate the pink product. I hate to give a review this low but I wanted it to make an impact.I absolutely HATE the messenger bag I received. I feel I was misled. I ended up returning the product. The company did pay for shipping. However, it took nearly 45mins to convince them my browser did not change when I selected the pink version. It would be difficult to clean and store products with the messenger version.Other sites if you select a different color it is another color with the same style. I do believe the pink bag needs to be listed as a completely different product.Even now the picture indicates my review is on the backpack style

Love the brushes, by far the best and longest lasting that I've used. Two complaints, the bag is pretty inefficient and awkward - but it is tough. And I wish there were more color options. Great quality, worth the price. Will not let you down.

i liked this a lot when i got it for my TB but i was kinda sad that the brushes are a darker blue than in the picture(or at least they were for me) they were the color of the bag. i dont really like the curry comb that came with it but thats just because im used to different kinds of curry combs. i loved all the other brushes though and my horse gets really clean when i use them.i would buy this again because of the brushes they work really well

I love this set. Oster's products are very durable and long lasting. I haven't found any other mane/tail brush that compares.

I really love this grooming set so much! I own two horses, and since I don't like to share brushes a lot, I bought two sets. They are very high quality and with just one quick brushing my horses look incredible! The two grooming brushes never shed their bristles all over my horses' coats, which is fantastic and it can be hard to find brushes like that! The mane and tail brush is really nicely sized and gets out tangles well; I also use it on my TB / Clydesdale cross gelding's feathering. The curry comb has a nice handle, but I absolutely hate using the mits so it may just be a normal brush to somebody else. The hoof pick is nice, I like the shape of it. I might have liked to see a brush on the other end of it, but the body brushes work for that and get clean again if you just hit them against your hand a few times. The mane and tail comb is a bit awkward at first, to be honest, but after getting used to it, the handle makes it much easier to get manes and tails worthy of shows! The handles are nice and grippy, easy to hold. My horses seem to like these brushes too- nice and soft, but firm enough to get their itchy spots and provide a really great clean! Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. It is more than worth it's price, even if that ten or twenty dollars more. This is a little costly in comparison to some other sets, but there is no comparison for quality and horse approval. The one thing I would suggest is to NOT get the pink. I got one set in each color, and even for a little girl the pink is really ugly... it looks dirtier, too, and it fades a bit. The blue I had no problems with though and they look great! I love this set and am planning on buying plenty as Christmas gifts for my barn friends!

I so love these brushes that I don't use anything else any more! They last forever--the only improvement that I could see making would be a better tote--as the brushes long outlast the zipper on their bag. I've had a set for over 7 years and they're still in "lightly" used condition--and believe me, their use has been anything but light! I also would like if they offered sets in the lime green/gray colors (I have a couple like that they were limited editions), or purple! I am now purchasing another set because I have quite a few horses and don't always like using the same ones for everyone.

All the tools are quality made and very comfortable to hold. Not the kid sized sets that other companies sell. Very happy with purchase

i got this for my birthday and i was so excited. but when i used it the brushes were so stiff.. the handle for the curry was uncomfortable and if i needed t get a brush quick i couldnt. i wouldnt recomend this prodoct AT ALL

Nice sturdy quality for all tools. Bag storage is great when working in the barn or taken out of bag to store in trailer when on the road.
